Day 5 - Wednesday 1st session 1pm UK
Tricole v Burt (76.92) Deta v Tori (68.75) Gates v Hine (83.31) Baetens v Parletti (88.59) 2nd session 7pm UK Marsh v Richardson (81.82) Luke "The Nuke" (91.25) v Veenstra (81.45) Lorraine v Vicky (62.00) Raman (92.61) v Cole (92.69) (84.16) Warren v Shewan (77.34) - Bonus match - carried over from last night With 4 players still to play their 1st match I'm swerving the afternoon session. The evening session looks by far the best yet starting with Marsh versus Richardson. Though Marsh is yet to play his 1st match of the tournament he is on my radar. Both play the challenge tour and the modus live league where Richardson is a regular, including 2x9 darters to his name. One against his son Josh in the deciding leg. James gave a big roar when he hit the double while it looked like Josh was gonna cry. Marsh is currently 10th on CT having played in Germany at the weekend. Richardson sits 73rd though not played as many events. A good match up. Richardson loves a 180 and that's my pick. Richard Veenstra v Luke "The Nuke" Littler Lakeside regular Veenstra takes on "The Nuke" in a match where the quick pace will suit both players. Veenstra plays hot and cold and has a habit of ghosting in and nicking legs off players missing doubles. He likes to keep things low key and out of the limelight. Luke "the Nuke" Littler at just 15 years of age is the one player getting the attention of all generations of darts fans. A proper live wire who will smash the lipstick as his confidence grows. Scored well in his opening match against Hazel and though squandered many doubles, he produced a blistering last set with winning legs of 12, 16, 15 on his debut. That set alone spoke volumes and showed his talent. There's much more to come. Brian Raman v Jarred Cole This is the only game in which both players have played a previous match in the tournament. Both averaged 92+. Some matches have brought excitement and this could be the match which totally ignites the tournament. Raman is the No1 seed and a pdc tour card holder. Progressed through a tough opening match against old punkster Haines which will stand him in good stead. Cole saw off Lakeside legend Wolfie Adams (who offered little) in the 1st round and won his 2nd match in a canter. Both those matches were played in the afternoon and this one is in the evening. He's looked the most at ease on the big stage and tonight's match looks like being his biggest test yet. Itś a match destined to go deep but I've gone for a bit of value with Raman winning 3-0/3-1 as he's been tested under pressure, not only against Johnny, but the tough pdc school, a player on the rise. I feel he has a bit more to his game right now than smiling boy and even the 11/10 is tempting. On the exchange it looks a traders Paradise with both players sure to go odds on in running. b]Richardson - Over 3.5 x180 @ 4/5 billies[/b] The Nuke - Over 2.5 x180 @ 6/10 billies Raman -1.5 sets h'cap @ 9/4 billies Good luck everyone |

This is what we want, differing opinions. A big lumper keen to take on Raman, so I've obliged and taken the 2.3.

Tricole winning legs were very good.
Between 15-18 all match apart from last leg. Started the deciding leg, winning in 21 darts with only 1 dart at a double. Strange match |
