Don't think there is one. Depends on how this goes I would say a hour after tea?
I would suggest 450, 400 should be enough but you want to maintain attacking fields so depends how hard they go at it after tea. They need to be careful here and secure enough runs to make it absolutely safe but also have enough time bearing in mind it is likely to rain tomorrow The new ball after tea will be interesting to watch |

that is likely minimum of 30-35 overs so they could be all out or just before close they will give England a few overs.

I know Nair is a good batsman and deserves another go. Sudhardsan has tremendous promise but has already shown a kink that will be exploited. If Shardal does not get a bowel on a swinging wicket you might as well play Reddy who is a better batsman and bring in Kuldeep as an attacking option to help Bumrah.

he has been disappointing. He is a good bowler on helpful pitches and conditions like this but not in this match. 80mph filth on flat wickets on a sunny day is not going to be good. |

Never lay that high personally WD but we all have our ways.
Think a conventional way of chasing targets like this would be potentially to keep wickets intact then convert the match to an ODI with say 280 from 50 overs then go at 4 per over to convert to a T20 game needing 160 from 20 overs , that's a reasonable strategy but the imponderables are obviously rain and bazball from the outset which means potentially 80-1 or 50-4 , that's why the bazball approach means England could either win the game , lose by 20 runs or lose by 200 runs , pay your money take your chance. If i was coming in fresh looking for a bet i'd swerve the match as it stands unless i was desperate for a guess , too many imponderables possible outside the norm. |
