I'm very choosy about such offers Brent, stuff like Kane 2 shots on target @ say 6/4 or whatever is not for me but that 4/6 does appeal. They are a bit picky though on how much they, Sky, take though on those quirky markets I have found.

Will rain rescue the convicts again?

More jam than a donut the swines Laugh

2-2 is the least we deserve, not much consolation but it would mean they haven't won here since Tony Blair was nationally loved and admired Silly

Time to get rid of umpires. They have been terrible all series. No need for them at all.

slightly ironic (or maybe not) that becalmed England falling in a heap...

400 is a good target to set

Aussies haven't really looked great all series with the bat

My clubs third team could have made these runs today. Best batting conditions of the whole series.

380..myabe a bit more feels about par but Oz may not get these overheads...and have wasted some chances with the bat when they've presented this series...

I laid them at their absolute low (1.39)...

...but it was some 'micro-trading' Tongue Out

so I gave it back at 1.41

In actuality, since then, I've taken a small knife to some of my green through lack of focus.

It has been a very disappointing session for us.
Australia should be totally out of the game and not a  4.40 chance.

'micro trading' amachers....... very odd session but sets up the game beautifully at least..

Shame that. Would have been a nice reception he got Down Under next series.

What an absolutely magnificent player he has been, let's hope he has a great day tomorrow.
He'll get a standing ovation at the end and well deserved.

If Anderson is gonna retire soon he should do it now as well, give them both a fantastic send off as they both deserve a massive ovation

Both absolute legends and given the past Ashes series some fond memories

Who can forget that Broad spell on the furst morning of that test in 2015, absolutely mental session that one and the guy was unplayable that day and to think some wanted him dropped in 2009 before that fifth test…

Have a great one Broady

Oddily the only one who had a spine during that 2013/14 series, despite him being the centre of the contreversy from the summer series

The rest melted whilst Broad took it in his stride

Broad has taken nearly 400 of his wickets in England. Struggled a bit elsewhere. Is he a great. Not for me.

I'm inclined to agree TMB but longevity has some merit when you're still getting it done to that extent...(600 wkts @ 27-28)....

Aussie run line on here is over 249.5 @2.0 don't sound to many demons in the pitch, should get a run for your money.

Got to give Broad a lot of credit ... not the best but always gave his all for England and gave as good as he got from the Aussies

Just watched a programme from a few years back where Charles Colville was interviewing Graham Gooch .. a really good watch

Almost every bowler has his best conditions though

Not many can perform in all countries and their individual conditions

With Broad and Anderson at their peak we always felt we were in the game even if they got 200/2 for example, as they could blow sides away with swing and seam esp here in England

Those pair were always going to be difficult to replace, so far we’ve found Robinson and maybe Tongua, neither are anywhere near as good as a peak Anderson/Broad. Robinson is not exactly young either, and then theres Woakes who is decent here in England but no pace to fall back on elsewhere same with Robinson.

Our bowling is light once you get past the main 3 and one of them has retired now so its a 40 year old Anderson and Woakes/Robinson thats pretty much it at the minute

Aussies dont look to great behind their main guys either though

Agree Geordie.Anderson and Broad noble bowlers when they have their conditions which they get here but the fact is they have also played about 40 more test matches than others in the top ten and up to 100 tests more than some of the true greats like Lillee and Malcolm Marshall. The boy done OK though.

Mitchell Johnson had his spells though, was laughable in 2011 (bar Perth). I remember him bowling that wide that was so bad it made Harmisons look tame.

But in 2013/14 I dont think weve seen a more nasty, venomous spells of quick bowling since from any quickie, it was the best spell of bowling Ive seen and it was fun to watch no doubt for an Aussie. But you wouldnt put him in the top 10 personally, over here he was always easily dealt with.

The thing is our bowlers always look toothless in Australia

For he most part the Aussie quicks seem to adapt better to our conditions than ours do down under
