Someone is forecasting rain. Draw price just crashed
By:
some of the more threatening stuff skating past just to the north of Trent Bridge..
By:
heavy rain this morn probably won't start on time heavy showers around tea could end the game
By:
the patterns of weather at play means it's a huge amount of guessing, relatively fast moving sporadic showers, heavy in places ...
By:
Has poured down 15 miles west of the ground in the last hour. which is pretty much where the weather normally comes from. Has stopped in last 10 minutes but still very grey think the light even with floodlights would be marginally to dark to play in at the moment.
By:
met office forecast has declined again quite badly though tbh they haven't been especially accurate throughout...
radar suggest they might need some luck to avoid a heavier shower shortly |
By:
could be a very late finish if there isn't enough rain for it to be called early
By:
Steady rain again at the moment 15 miles away
By:
England should be getting their 10 overs per hour plan well prepped here...
By:
though can ill afford a Root ban anytime soon so maybe keep him in the dressing room

By:
Trent Bridge force field not working as well today, looks a high chance of catching one of the bigger showers though a bit of distance to be travelled yet, could still break up..
By:
Serious downpour down the road now if this hits trent bridge it will be game over.
By:
met office now saying clear after 4pm - can play to 7.30pm (I think) or indeed beyond if over rate is slow but on the back of the somewhat unforecast drizzle rather than showers the outfield could start to be an issue if the heavier stuff does hit, currently still looks on target to hit...

Hi Brentford, always on the draw but got twitchy and took a sizeable red before India got batting, forecasting has been hazardous, however lumped on this .morning and hoping it's done, for a small green that would feel like a win
By:
could still turn into a great finish if India only get something like 20-25 overs at it...

![]() those things are surprisingly watchable.. another heavier one looks like hitting...used up their quota of weather fortune yesterday (Trent Bridge) |
By:
is this sky coverage live? if so covers are off
By:
it's not
By:
What radar sites are everyone using? I find meteoradar really clunky and stupidly designed.
By:
have had 3 or 4 open at times...all the usual suspects tbh ...free ones ..I quite like meteo though use the sat as well as it's often as useful
By:
super soapers out but by the time they inspect I feel that huge storm is going to hit.
By:
By:
sat 24, met office, none of them are any better than meteo imo - just sometimes useful to see a different style of graphic...you can go blind staring at these things too much you know !

Forecasts have all been rubbish.
Ground does drain well but it will take some time. Don't see Joe rushing anything. So who knows, shaking hands is the right thing to do,..... Ha |
