Curran's batting has come along leaps and bounds. He would not be out of place batting at 6 as a genuine all rounder. Certainly wouldn't weaken the batting that's for sure

Sam Curran a nice little cricketer, no idea what he's in a test team.

Not fair Pecker. He has won Test Matches for England. Like I said the bigger boys are ahead of him in the bowling dept. Anderson, Broad, Archer, Wood, Woakes, Stone and now certainly Robinson is a shoe in for the Ashes. Stokes is a better all rounder. if he wants toplay Test cricket he needs to seek opportunities to bat. He has the talent.

England fast bowler Jofra Archer will miss this winter's T20 World Cup and the Ashes in Australia with a stress facture in his right elbow.
The 26-year-old will not play again this year, instead taking an extended break from cricket, with the injury due to be reviewed in the autumn. Even when Archer is fit, it will be for a period of white-ball cricket so his progress can be managed. Pace bowler Olly Stone is already an Ashes doubt with a back injury. Archer's injury is the latest setback for England, after all-rounder Ben Stokes last week announced he is taking an "indefinite break" from the game to focus on his mental wellbeing. |

Like to see England take a look at Pat Brown

We are well short of what is required without Archer and Stone and of course Stokes would be an absolute tragedy! Anderson, Broad, Woakes will not instil any fear. I really had high expectations this winter but I fear we get whupped! Have we ever had a worse top 2/3, batting side....oh yes. Does anyone remember the 1990's?

I've been onto BF Customer Hindrance twice already today, but please back me up and get onto them too. Not enough people complain. It really irritates me how little BF seem to care about looking slapdash and amateur. They usually just blame their third-party sources but it doesn't seem to occur to them to change who the third party is. You don't for instance ever get Cricinfo stuck on yesterday's score. |

Morning all,
Anyone near the ground with a weather update please? GLA |
|
By:
I'm 15 miles away - currently overcast and dry
|
|
By:
Sorely tempted to lay at 1.65 yesterday but too risky as it was not not Lords or the Oval. Got a feeling the weather will move oop North. England might be a good buy. All 3 prices more should synchronise. This could be close. Might also have a nicker on the Thai. India have a long tail.

Might get 20 overs in
