It's not in the cricket rules as far as I can tell, nor in the stated market rules and the match is almost certainly going into a sixth day, so the possibility of a voided market would make a draw lay even more attractive as a draw outcome within 5 days would not easily be possible, so a result within five days would be a win, after six might be a win depending on what BF actually do and a draw after six days could possibly lead to a refund. A re-reading of the rules suggests "the team" are mistaken though.
"Cricket 7.2 Test matches If a match starts but is later abandoned for any reason other than weather (which may include but is not limited to: dangerous or unplayable wicket or outfield; pitch vandalism; strike or boycott; crowd protests/violence; stadium damage; acts of terrorism; and acts of God), Betfair reserves the right to void all bets, except for those on markets that have been unconditionally determined. If the match is not scheduled to be completed within five days after the original scheduled completion date, then all bets on markets for this event will be void, except for bets on any markets that have been unconditionally determined." |

In theory a free lay, yes. Still not confident though.
|

By:
yeah i wouldnt rely on betfair's word tbh but if what they are saying is true then laying the draw is free.

Hmmn ![]() I am not so sure about that! Look oot the window. If it is not raining would you rather bat or bowl? |

Have they got bowlers run ups covered properly?

Still far too ambiguous for my liking, will proceed with caution.

Surely a sixth day is well within five days of the original scheduled completion date. |

A completed match market would be interesting.

India lasses might not make the follow-on here. Surely Eng would have to enforce with all the weather concerns?
|
|
By:
Yeah I am 40 euro green on them.

With only being a four-day test it’s a no-brainier.
|
|
By:
is the follow on at 200 behind for them?
|
|
By:
High humidity throughout the Test Match and it is quite windy on the coast although I guess if the ground is in a bowl it might not be that helpful in drying out the outfield.

150 for a four day match. Should be 250 for a six day match

Draw's gone out from 1.07 overnight to 1.61. Wouldn't it be handy if lasses cricket regularly becomes as tradeable as the men's?

It is with the Australia and NZ games.

I don't suppose our English batsmen might be encouraged to watch how these Indian openers are batting?
Beautifully straight and correct! Quite a joy |

looks like will need all of the scheduled 6 days to get the requisite 5 overs a side in to get a result and even that contingency isn't odds on
why don't they play these tests in the summer ffs?! ![]() |
