100+ overs is a long time in the dirt

Gutless from Broad!

Mind you a 6ft 5 in fast bowler bowling at 90mph is not easy to face!

I'd enforce the follow on

Its going to take england until well after lunch tomorrow to knock off the deficit, Aus cannot lose from here

The bowlers need to give one last big effort and the urn is going back home with them no matter what

BBC Test Match Special statistician

Of all Mitchell Starc's Test wickets, 27% are bowled. It's the best in the 21st century.

Wonder

If they don't enforce it they bat until almost close today giving them tomorrow to bowl them out and risking 1-1 going into the 5th test with maybe tiring bowlers

If they enforce it they know they can't lose and can only draw at worst, yeah they've been out in the field half a day longer, but these are fit elite athletes? half a day makes little difference, just rotate them a bit more than usual that's all

And if they enforce it they can win it all right now

Of course they have to get this last wicket before it drops below 200 which may not happen Laugh

Yeah fair enough, but its worth risking, as an englishman lets grind their bowlers into the dirt regardless

Whats the legitimate reason for not having no balls called by the 3rd umpire? There must be dozens that go unnoticed that give the bowler an unfair advantage.
