The only thing I can gather from this is that the majority of punters use google for their forecasts!!

The MET office of UK  have virtually ZERO rain and the draw is at 3.8

Djokovuc lost. Brought me a handsome 150 bucks on the outright. I am well and truly back in the game with my balance above 1k now, from a 52wk low of 550.

This ground has great drainage, 2 years ago on the Saffet test, was pouring down much of the night and through their webcam I watched a huge puddle develop and 4 hours after the rain stopped it was gone and play started when it should.  Can't find the webcam Sad

Yeh I remember that. It was on webcam and the whole ground was under water.
Play started on time and England won

CS you won't need a webcam on this game!

denly switches with roy for 4th test, denly opens, roy comes in at 4, denly added " its great for england cricket that roy will keep his place "

I remember that game very well. Saved Screenshots throughout the night for future use but I guess I deleted them later. It was incredible that they could drain that much water and start on time.

"I got a call from Joe Root after a bit of time off and he said he'd like for me to go at the top of the order and try and get us off to a good start," Denly told BBC Radio 5 Live. "Obviously Jason's going to bat at four."

risk of rain overstated now I think looking at the charts its might just boil down to passing showers on 1st and 3rd day

Friday is now a problem for draw layers. Pleased as punch I've stayed out of this market so far

I put an order in at 4s and it got matched while I was asleep
About 10 quid red now!
Friday is the day that keeps changing so I'll just keep an eye on it
The market isn't sure what to do as the game may virtually over after 2 days!!
Friday is by no means dreadful though

I have gotten involved now. The forecast does not merit such a short draw price.

Yeh it is bonkers considering the batting of both sides is desperate.

Current forecast per met - max overs lost

Wed - 2 hours
Thurs - 0 hours
Fri - 3 hours - showers all day
Sat - 0
Sun - 0

Lose say 75 overs but gain back 24. Net 51 lost

Hardly anything in the context of a whole test

By:

When: 02 Sep 19 23:02
Both sides have a sub 100 effort in them.
Saying that most int sides have!!
India have the steadiest batting line up at the moment, the rest are increasingly erratic

day 1 has a met office 90% probability of light rain at 1.00pm that could carry on until 7.00pm.

I also expect the usual shenanigan from met office, and the wind is up too which makes forecasting even more tricky.

Just changed again for Manchester Laugh
I tend to use Manchester not Old Trafford as it gets updated more often and quicker.

I think with the wind the showers will blow through quickly.
Just be an on/off affair

Aust drop Khawaja and rest Pattinson from Old Trafford. Harris retained, no MMarsh

The 12 for the 4th Test at Old Trafford starting on Wednesday is:

Paine c
Cummins
Harris
Hazlewood
Head
Labuschange
Lyon
Siddle
Smith
Starc
Wade
Warner

People definitely betting off Weather.com, Accu and the Beeb
The Met office forecast definitely doesn't justify this price

Starc for Patto
He will be chomping at the bit and adds variety
Also footmarks for ratboy to the RH batsmen

Can imagine a decent amount of turn
Last Championship game here the leggie got 10 and that was 2 months ago
Must be drier than Joan Collins's wrinkly old snatch

Hoping Eng win the toss and bat for a nice bump to the aussie price which is already most delicious and tempting.

Aussies getting to rotate bowlers is a boon they did tire a lot last test. And it wasnt like Eng were batting for days on end.
By:

Not exactly been a massive workload for the bowlers so far has it!
By:

In Aus they use some kind of tech to measure the moisture in each pitch and they show comparisons every day as it dries out
Be interesting to see the measurements on these English pitches!

forecast quite a bit worse but the draw hasn't really moved
By:

This is going to be one of those games where you back the draw seeing an incoming shower and a wicket falls the ball before they go off!
By:

When: 03 Sep 19 10:29
As long as that wicket is Steve Smith Grin

When: 03 Sep 19 10:44
Smith will sh*t himself when Jofra is tossed the ball. No way that hit on the head won't have a detrimental impact on him. If England get Smith out cheaply, which I think is more likely now, their top order is more fragile than Eng's imho, esp. now Denly opening and Roy dropped down the order. Just a shame the eejit selectors didn't start the series that way - it was a no-brainer Roy should play in the middle order.

Not sure how you see aussie price as attractive. Fresh bowlers doesn't mean much. They only bowled 125 overs about 8 days ago. That was their only exertion in that game. Enough time for bowlers to recover from four straight sessions of bowling.
