Having said that, the guy above who posted last year's game starting at odds of 1.65 in similar circumstances was spot on.

I'm not in a good position here, I'm not buried but if something dramatic happens when I am asleep I could well wake up semi buried. SurprisedAngryCrazy

I've been able to do a bit of jiggery pokery and get my red down to 2k on all results.
I would have been 4/5k down by now with my initial bet!

Be nice if the rain didn't start til 11.30 on Wed.
Just the toss and a hint of play would be enough

If you disregard the Ireland test here you can't discount the India test 12 months ago that had rain issues but was still wrapped up after not many overs.  Less than 200 overs

Logic tells me this draw price is just f*cking wrong but I can't fight it.

You just need to find the axis and follow it. It will lead you to green.

I think Jimmy not playing affects things + the colour of the pitch.
However, Lords has had some stinking pitches for a while now and a 300 over game is very feasible

With well over 24 hours before the game starts, it's rare to see this it this short
Normally with a day wash out we need to see the rain falling before we get to 1.7ish
The UK weather can change quite dramatically in 36 hours!

Maybe when I wake up tomorrow the severity of the situation will hit me. But for now I keep laying.

179 overs last years Lords test v India....in light of that and the Irish game a few weeks ago to see draw down at 1.70 is breathtaking
