Rationally, it shouldn’t drop much now as Pak getting a decent lead and England up against it should be priced in but the England price says something totally different. Almost brilliant. Glad it wasn’t.

game is advanced & weather is set pretty fair = hard to see a draw imo
but it is a tenacious little fecker after half an hour of wicketless batting

Not a disaster Sarfraz moves the score along, busy little bugger.

Does my position in a bit and not sure what to do in response. I don’t usually back the draw if it’s not got back above my last lay.

Also Dhawan out. FFS!

Is a bit of a risk of picking up pennies under a steamroller backing draw with these two sides, especially after England all out for sod all first day. The 11s were certainly silly. I should trust my judgement more when the draw doesn’t come up as much as I think it should on a wicket. Quite often it spikes and you miss your chance if you’re not quick. Hard to call sometimes.

At least there looks to be a lot of rain on Sunday - could be a useful escape hatch.

Pakistan will also be dangerous bowling in these conditions!

Possibly but the draw could be dead by then.

I'm trying to offload now, Stokes bowling well and the new pill round the corner. Clawed a bit of red back, 500 down now

Never rely on rain at Lord's.  They'll be out again before the roller has finished going round.

This is a scary one, yes. Wish I’d done that draw laying in the 8s and 9s I talked about.

Although the backs of draw on the wicket have come in for more green Pak and draw and a bit less red England.

Hoping they score runs off a hard new ball! Sun is coming out and it might not swing until the laquer comes off! A quick 40 off the new ball will tilt the contest but of course wickets could bring England right back. I am happy to be red England for now.

Thing is now, that the lead is bound to be big enough that England need to bat at least decently second go to have much of a shot and two to three early wickets are highly likely, aren’t they?

Was playing around with a back draw on blip too. Admittedly, I do that often enough that I’ll  get caught now and again.

Not neccess celery!

Anderson might be more effective when the laquer comes off and Broad with the harder ball because of his height!
