So hard to tell when it will actually hit - should be already raining. Even the market pre-empted it prematurely.

Ooh - have you got a radio link please (one that works outside of NZ)?

Thanks tyco - that's the one I thought they said you can't get outside NZ. Maybe I misunderstood.

yeah not sure, im in NZ but I have listened to it overseas before I think. Still cannot work out the draw price. Sun and Mon 2 full days play and its definitely not a draw.
By:
tyco161
When: 23 Mar 18 05:05
that said, Sun and Mon could be interrupted too, but less likely than today and tomorrow
By:

When: 23 Mar 18 05:05
If this rain finishes off today's play and tomorrow's start is delayed I wonder how low the draw will go?
By:
tyco161
When: 23 Mar 18 05:06
3.8?
By:
VardonVoo.
When: 23 Mar 18 05:12
Overnight panic might take it lower than 3.5 - not sure if I'm reckoning that or just hoping though. Mind you last night/this morning's dip was a whole point from the close.

It might do, but I am rational and would be laying that all day. This game is so well advanced. 2 more days or 180 overs are all we really need to have a result. The worst of the weather may be tomorrow. Updated forecasts may shed some light when they happen.

I won't hold out that long - I have a red to clear elsewhere. If I was better placed I'd scale out to a lower level but I got stuffed by England first dig, so I'm in survival mode for now. If it gets that low I might go quite red too though I usually don't like to take a new red after repairing a bad position.

But its still going to be a result. Today is probably gone, as is tomorrow. But Sun and Mon could well be full days. 180 overs is more than enough... Waiting for the new forecast for Auckland anytime soon

I probably could trade it down and then lay it out again but too busy tomorrow with tennis and other stuff to really monitor as close as I would like... so greening up now and leaving for a bit.

well the new forecast looks identical to the old one.

super sopper out, some puddles on ground but ground drains very quickly. Play likely get underway at 7pm according to Craig Cumming.

7pm being just in time for that new band of rain to arrive if you ask me. No problem with the light though. They are on.

covers are totally off now. Drying the surface. but as commentator is saying the weather to the NE does not look good at all. So thinks today and tomorrow may be total washout. On the flip side saying that 2 days should be enough because the game is so far advanced.

Have to bear in mind, BF is from the UK so England's odds are often biased towards them winning/saving a game

Done some red reduction but dare not dream that this could be a non NZ win. Grin

They may be a UK based company but are the majority of users from the UK? Does that hypothesis really hold in your opinion?

I do, but doesn't mean we can't make some money in the meantime! All markets hate uncertainty & backing high amounts at low odds requires a lot of balls. Unfortunately a lot of people bottle it and take a loss, helping the layers to make cash
