Hi All,
Not in Vegas unfortunately! In my bedsit somewhere in the country, curtains drawn shut, small light on desk with pc. Not a good look! Ashley I spent 3 fabulous weeks in India with Mrs 'Death. First Class AC all the way and confess to be feeling a little depressed since I got back. Let me defenses down waiting for a fceking pool clkass to finish in the gym and got sick. Been sick for three weeks. Not even felt like gambling. Today is first decent look at a game. Very disappointed in India but have to say did expect it so have not lost any money! |

Still can't understand the logic of playing for stumps. I know conditions are difficult but why would they be any easier tomorrow? Listening to the commentators you would think that runs scored in the last 5 overs don't count.

Seriously I have diagnosed myself as clinically depressed!
Next stop is Nusa Dua in Bali unless knows better! Phoenix is beautiful at this time of year I have to say but won't be doing too much in America for a little while although my sis had bought a spread in North Carolina. If I can master the phrase " Lordy Miss Maudy " I may take a short visit. Am depressed. Only thing I have to look forward to is 6 Nations games in Paris and Cardiff and to be honest I cannot get a hard on for either at the moment. I have got tickets for Lords and The Oval. T3 you may yet be my guest! I need to get out of the copuntry again I think and get some sun. Juce you have got the right idea. |

I ashley nought tickets for Italy v Engand in Rome as well but bought them through via Go Go who did not deliver them to me so I managed to get a refund through credit card company! Always buy tickets with credit cards and never use via Go Go! |

solid advice |

Very disappointed in via Go Go and again am telling everybody here do not buy tickets from them. I paid 114 Euros for two 35 Euro tickets! I just wanted to get them and should really have just got them at face price from the Italian Rugby Federation, my mistake. via Go Go did not give a sheite my tickets were not received and kept telling me to get in tough with the delivery company as if I haven't got anything better to do! Up theirs!

I think India are still in this game. Tomorrow will be very interesting. Should have palyed Ashwin imho. Why would you play 5 seamers? Expect SA to complete a sweep here but for the sake of the game hope India provide some fight!
Kohli is not a great Captain imho and I reckon he intimidates some of the players. Parthiv Patel should not have played against England ( well though he played ). They sould have given that youngster a go when he was in such a confident mood ( Pant ). |

Yes, I'm happy here WD. It's just weather! Used to getting soaked but I agree the dark days with no sun can be a chore.
Welcome back - glad you had a great time! |

Yep Kohli has a problem. He is too intense and judges everybody by his own high standards and I think that is to the detriment of some. Who can stand up to him? Nobody! Every player has been dropped....by Kohli.
India have a selection connundrum although they have 3 decent fast bowlers and a good spinner. They also have a Test class allrounder who at best is a decent 4th Test Seamer at the moment. IMHO the wicket keeper situation needs addressing. I thought Saha a better bat than he is proving. India should give a go to Sansom and Pant. Saha has not been an outstanding wicket keeper although he is decent. India need to play 5 bowelers abroad. This SA side is coming together nicely and their bowlers as good as there is. Aussie are amazing bowling wise but this SA side would smash their batsmen. It would seem India have the ages old problem of Rohit or Rahane. Much as I am a fan of the talented one and cannot see how he cannot be included in the Indian side Rahane is a better Test batsman for me. I think India have to trust their batsmen, play 5 of them, 4 bowlers, Pandya and a young gun wicketkeeper batsman. Game wise India need to bowl SA out tomorrow. The pitch should get better and they may have an adavantage batting third on day 3. They could afford to concede a lead if they bat well 2nd time. No side has wn with such a low first innings total here but if the ball does continue to move around in the morning they have a chance at best. |

As per normal not sure what to do. Backed and laid the draw at 3.75 so nothing there. Backed India at 6.96 and laid at 6.4 so little there but it covered a lay of SA at 1.3. Leaves a small profit.
I'd like to back the draw at something high but not sure what constitutes high. I'd like to be on India for a while but at around 5.8 seems a bit short. SA at 1.32 I can't do. I'm sure there's a good bet somewhere but can't see it. |

It often pays to wait for an opportunity to present itself, or if you're impatient just drip into a position as odds drift out, then at least you've got a partial position if things suddenly change.
At the moment India's odds look a bit skinny, but if SA look like notching up some decent runs the odds will move out and the draw will come in. With a small stake on the draw you might get to lay it off at lower odds and end up with some green on SA. With the added weather risk I prefer this trade to backing SA at very low odds. Gearing works in your favour when you start at teens-to-one. And if India blow out a long way you get to back them at longer odds. If India and the draw see-saw between wickets you can possibly build up a green on SA from repeated alternating lays of your positions. |

tough chase for the kiwis in the t20
been up trying to reduce my results red by trading draw from 14's-15.5 for an hour...not done too bad but still in the mire kicking myself for trying to gain a few ticks when Phelo was bowling poorly, held on then Morne bowled and the collapse happened,144-4 - 187 all out ![]() ![]() ,thank god Bhuvi played so well was patient all day too waiting for an opening blah blah looking to reverse out but want price a bit lower but nothing on radar to help and the pitch was seaming all over the place so will see how it looks early doors i did get some india at 9's so hoping Bhuvi bowls well again with the new-ish ball first up GL all |

Got matched at 5.9 on India overnight - thought I was doing well selling it back at 5.5 and then some to trade back on a bounce but this move has scr*wed me. Pitch must look even nastier this morning.
