Draw will be under 3's sometime down the road & probably odds on, slow outfield/modest run rate iffy weather forecast.
|
|
By:
Is the forecast that bad though?
Looks good for the weekend. Certainly better batting conditions than this morning. |

If they hadn't got Stokes out in the penultamate over, that would have been Englands day, just because with the ball doing what it did, England ought to have been bowled out. Because there was some moisture in the surface at the start I reckon there will be a few indentations left on the surface and I think the surface will offer England as much assistance. 260-6 is an ok score, 260-5 and it would have been Englands day. If England can get another 50-100 tomorrow morning, then they should be on top, because remenber England have 4 quality or good seamers and may well cause problems for SA. The didn't have that much luck bowling, but England should be fairly happy with the day.

What is it that i hear? A rabada yorker? Hope someone puts up the video on youtube.
|
|
By:
Rabada reminds me of Waqar Younis. I didn't see Waqar in his prime but a lot of him on Youtube. The following two dismissals are pretty similar.
Rabada to Malan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nqEye_S0dM Waqar to Lara: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5KODVPu0CA Now if only Rabada could do it at will like Waqar did, and then add reverse swing to his armory. He's only 22 ffs. |

Mondays forecast could wash out the whole day especially if the system arrives a bit later than forecast, which often met office forecasts do

Some showers forecast today. Look quite heavy over Ireland currently.
|
|
By:
Can't see any rain on the forecast or radar, doesn't mean it won't happen though.
Forecast looks much better for Monday and Tuesday now too |
|
By:
Try the UK Met radar.

Met has no rain on the latest update, about 90 mins ago. It changes every hour though, so I will keep an eye on it |
|
By:
The radar I use gives 3 hours in advance also & there doesn't look to be an imminent threat.
|
|
By:
all those showers in Ireland look to be sliding under Manchester and across the Midlands.

By:
My mistake.

England just bat too deep. SA once again going to concede 350+.

looks much easier batting today

I think the draw price is going to shorten quite a bit in the next 30 minutes.

Looks like we will definitely get to the 4th 5th day and forecast comes into play. Unless SA are 9-6 or something like that. Monday forecast has massively improved though.
