Extremely disappointed with SA performance in the series. No character. No fight. Gonna lose again after conceding only 350 odd.

Tuesday now looking pretty grim, could be all over by then though

Would be slightly surprised for them to need much if any play Tuesday for a result, unless also a fair bit lost Sunday / Monday, which it doesn't currently look like. Market could have some conniptions if England's batsmen manage to bat for a while though, or even look like it, as they certainly won't account for much rain in any declaration decision.

Biggest risk of a draw is if Eng bat all day (or until the rain) tomorrow. SAF might only have to defend for less than a day's equivalent play.

Possible, yes. England bat all day far from certain in itself though.

can explain this huge spike on the draw today?

9.8        £14    £54
10        £23    £457
10.5        £18    £7,975

There was a wicket? Pretty sure was after Maharaj out, or could have been market thinking De Kock was run out. Think there was a decision about that around that time.

100% was no wicket as i've been trading the draw all today and took me by surprise it jumped to high on the ladder, but price came back to normal 7.2/7.4 2 minutes later

That rain coming from Ireland is moving pretty quickly, could disrupt today's play after lunch

15 hours of heavy rain now forecast for Manchester starting at 3pm.
Wonder if that will affect the outfield for Monday?

I was thinking the same thing. Got it a bit wrong this morning having laid the draw around 6. Now need to cover around 5.5.

Going to be a surprise to folks waking up in the uk (good or bad). Big move on the draw from 6s to 4s

I covered my draw lay from 6 at 4.3. Although I expect a result unless we have a wet outfield tomorrow. Prefer to be all green at this stage.

Still 6 on sportsbook

I managed to buy lots of draw at indifferent to poor prices yesterday, lay off at close over 6s expecting a bounce up and am now staring at big red and dodgy forecast. Still think England win but could easily go wrong now oddly if they bat well. SA may bowl quite defensively if England starts well too.

Delicious market moves while I slept, I notice I got matched on Eng as high as 1.43 and Draw as low as 4.0

Could rain for about 18 hours straight on latest forecast starting at 3.00pm today

When: 06 Aug 17 09:20
The draw has been pretty volatile, with a downward trend but a lot of bouncing about. It didn't get as low as 4 though.

Has actually worked okay for me as a draw lay I'd left up at 4.8 was taken but I've been able to buy back at 5.2.

Okay, don't suppose that would have registered much on the graph.

Struggling to call this from here. Thing is, even if we lose a lot of play, either England or especially SA tomorrow under cloud, could easily be out in a couple of sessions.

There is load of rain coming this afternoon and all night. Outfield could be an issue tomorrow morning
Tuesday looks iffy.
England need to bat again & will not declare at any point being 2-1 up
Then they have to bowl SA out again in between the rain.
1.3ish looks a poor bet to me.

Not sure yet, the effect of the rain on the outfield will be decisive I reckon.
If we lose a session tomorrow morning, things could get tight.

Yeh but they should manage 80 overs min, leaving SA 400 odd.
Then it depends how SA bat.
Should be some good opps anyway

136 run lead the par losing toss.

if SA had won 3 tosses it'd have been a 3-1 win the other way

again, you're not allowed mention its the main deciding factor in the test match game
By:

They've had the best batting conditions in this match, so I very much doubt that, as England would have knocked South Africa over for 150 had they batted first.

nearly 3 days left, England won't declare and 2-1 up in the series, England are unlikely to bat until Tea tommorrow on this surface, without being bowled out.

amazing move on the draw for a number 11 wicket. What was the market expecting? a 100 run stand?
By:

When: 06 Aug 17 11:29
I got some draw at 5 because of today's forecast and day 5, and the fact that Eng dont need to win. There is some rain forecast for tonight, how much does that affect the outfield tomorrow?

By:

Npo. The drift was because Morne ran out of partners.

Dot em up Jen lad.
I'm on the draw but laid 300 runs as a safety net
