Got some 1.5 layed earlier at the bottom and some 2.2 backed just now, followed by lay at 1.9 within a minute or two. Happy days.

ok Im totally baffled what that move is on because the forecast has not changed since 11pm last night. Or are others watching different forecast sites?

If I'd had one of those I'd not have bought my draw lay at 1.5 back at 1.55! I'm very, very much not complaining about how I've traded this one so far though.

I have no idea what that move was about. I actually think 1.9 or so is a bit high for the draw for the forecast we have, even bearing in mind the obvious uncertainties, given that the probabilities do firm up as the game approaches.

MetService meteorologist Brian Mercer said the organisation used three global models in making its forecasts. It also ran some finer resolution models on top of those.

"With this system coming in they are all slightly different - how deep the low is, how much rainfall and exactly where it's crossing the country," Mercer said.

"There's definitely going to be some heavy rain on Saturday, exactly where and when we're not able to give a full, absolute answer yet. The further out you get the broader the uncertainty."

ah yes i get it :) The met service is showing Wednesday as fine, Saturday as ok and Sun Mon as potential washouts with Tuesay saying showers and light winds. Is 3 days enough?

3 full days should be possible provided bad light doesnt get in picture. Ill just sit this out now , green book and i am not complaining. Did miss the train to 1.85 to 1.5 and 1.5 to 2.1 but for now ill contend with what i have done
