obviously gonna be some weather plays with the forecast but the draw has no realistic chance. 3 days play should more than enough now

Just woke up. Can't believe my Aus lay at 7 was taken. Must have benn during the princely stand of 13 for the 6th wicket.

I have absolutely no idea how to play this one now. Unless you can call the rain spot on seems crazy to back draw at any stage. Tempted to back SA.

Looked quite threatening with the ball when I was watching earlier but only seen a small bit of it. Needs outlandishly good bowling to redeem a first innings total of 85 though.

trying too hard because they got such a low score

Yeah, often a problem: you look for magic rather than just observe the usual length and line disciplines that work best almost all the time and especially when there's movement in the pitch.

I'm looking to get rid of my green at 4s if available, which it won't be unless they come off only 3 or perhaps 4 down, I don't think. Probably an error, really. Bowling does look threatening at the moment.

Big price move five minutes back, draw out, Aus in. I thought the 4th wicket was down. It's gone back the other way now.

Don't think I'm getting much use out of the draw green.

I'm too red on Aus to smash into a further lay of them but SA already ahead and only 4 down with a fair bit of batting to come and Amla set and you can lay in the low 5s? I get that the draw isn't going to save you very often if Aus bowl SA out for 150 but still seems foolishly short. They'll only be chasing about 20 if they score 150, apart from anything else.

Hmm, done a bit of the Aus SA test first up then a little over 3 hours sleep before running them both at once. I think I'll have to go back to bed for an hour at least, probably over lunch in the India England game.

I've not totally given up hope that it may come in handy. If the forecast hardens up for Monday or if there's enough rain to affect the outfield (which will spook the market after what happened in those two tests a few months back that cost me £5k each) then it could shorten a fair way.

Surprisingly much, even assuming it was due to the damp surface. Australia needs it to be a total minefield though, from here.

Balls, tried to be clever with an Aus lay around 7s then chased it up to 8s aiming to buy back at 10.5 then Amla out. Very, very exposed on Aus now. Letting it ride but a bit anxiously.

Tomorrow looks a write off so 15 wickets over 2 days is fairly normal
By:

When: 12 Nov 16 06:41
Also it's 15 wickets with the side batting second already 60 ahead, so not even like say 180ao plays 80/5 where there would be a lot more scope for a draw. This game is absurdly advanced. It's probably not a draw with two full days lost, especially if time can be made up.
