Sounds more promising pxb. What do you mean by "cold weather" in Perth?
By:
Cool relative to what it is normally. The last 4 months have been well below average. The WACA pitch needs to bake hard in the hot sun and we have had hardly any hot days so far. Also 1st week in Nov is early in the season.
tbh, I think there is a fair amount of wishful thinking in the talk of a WACA pitch of old. Could be wrong. Just my opinion. |
By:
TV coverage starts 9am Perth time. Will be plenty of talk about the pitch I expect.

Thanks.

Will be off to bed soon so I can have a look what's happening during the final session in the morning.
Enjoy the day. |

Not had a bet on this yet which is rare for me at this stage of a game.
Can't decide what to do so nothing is the best option! One thing is for sure, since they got rid of those hideous Aus wallets, the liquidity has increased dramatically! |
By:
I've traded loads, and I'm in pretty good shape. Wouldn't mind SAF winning the toss.
By:
I found Australia Wallets helped me tick nick coz the markets were gappy for overnight trading but I suppose it helps overall.
By:
When these 2 last played here saffers made 225 and Aus 163 1st knocks and then it got better to bat on.
By:
In fact looking back at stats I'm not sure I want to be batting 1st here at all.
By:
Oh well saffers win toss and choose to bat, if they have confidence in themselves I will too and NOT scratch my Aus lay of 2.2 :-) will in fact lay again.

Fair catch

:-(

The most important thing for me is if the ball is carrying to the slips nicely. Last year some of the nicks didn't carry to the slips.
By:
Still remember Amla's first test innings. He looked absolutely hopeless against Harmison et al. Amazing progression to a top player
By:
Bloody hell, Punter and Vaughan
By:
SA in big trouble now
By:
I don't rate Duminy at all
By:
Duminy at 4.........superficially this looks a Quick Death for me!
By:
They will need a De **** counter to save them now
By:
2 new ball wickets, not enough to make you think it's going to be a massive collapse. Just need to leave the ball well
By:
KP on comms too, interesting. He's a lot more knowledgeable than people give him credit.
By:
I don't mind KP. He keeps going on about lack of swing.
By:
Good start by Aussie! Need SA to hang in here. Looks like a decent strip.
By:
First bet, backed the draw at 8s.
By:
By:
Bought draw after each of the first two wickets but had lost heart / missed 10.5 for the third, which would actually have gone well. That four now? Crickey, doesn't look good for my winnings from Zim SL.

not out
By:
who layed 2.4?
By:
By:
yeh, ump gave it tbf so difficult to over turn on that evidence
By:
I am not sure it was out but definately no reason to overturn the Umpires decision. We seem to be forgetting DRS is here to primarily stop howlers. I think it does that quite effectively.
Juce i still think Hillary wins. Would you want a man like that to be President if you had a daughter? Will keep off the Politics here. Gambling wise I had a couple of bets on Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders and also Paul Ryan! I expect some dirty tricks in the next few days. This is going very badly! SA batting like England! Hope FAF puts in a 300 ball epic like KP said! I am a little surprised SA have been done by the bounce. |
By:
By:
Bavuma is almost shorter than Taylor, he might struggle with the bounce!
By:
not sure I want either of them!
I don't want to see QDK batting before lunch! Sa need to make this go into 5 days. I am a little surprised they chose to bat. maybe had something to do with the spinner playing. |
By:
I think shorter players are generally good on the back foot!
By:
By:
I am quite fearful of what David Warner might do when the pitch settles down!
By:
I do like listening to Chapelli. I am on the Ian Botham side of the argument in how to deal with him but he is a good and informative commentator
