Just take the smart arse position, you were right ! I understand your frustration but worse things happen at sea! I am over the moon at getting out without a loss. I learnt a good lesson or reminder at least... Attention to detail! I did not see the muddy patches or take heed of any warning signs. Switch form the Carribean to Sri Lanka to South Africa is dangerous. Different Continents, soils, climates, time zones, sun sets etc etc etc. Sometimes it comes to easy but this was a stark reminder it can go even quicker. |
