It's like really expensive champagne, that's even more of a con.
I do believe the wines & whisky can be appreciated by certain folk, but champagne is very difficult to differentiate. Like the emperor's new clothes to me

Yeh because your average restaurant has 6/7 bottles of vino of a similar standard. What's the point of buying the one with the biggest markup!

my friend is like this, says he can taste the difference between expensive bacardi and cheap stuff but he always drinks it with loads of coke!
