vince is COMPLETELY bereft of the necessary mental discipline for this level.
what amazes me is how james taylor knuckled down like a trooper while KP was going mental at the other end, and yet they seemed to think he wasn't good enough. |

Bit tough to do but a lay of Pakistan at around 1.21 seems reasonable to me.

The question also needs to be asked; why was this not a 5 test series? So they can accomodate the nonsense 20-20 matches & one-dayers, I guess is the answer which is a sad answer if it's the case.

I would take Billings, Ansari and Batty! It is so bleedin obvious. Move everbody up in the order. Now we have a reason to get rid of 4 and 5. Add Rashid and Butler. Add Stokes remove Finn ( Sorry but you can Tour ). Put pressure on Hales to become a Test Match Opener and give Ansari a Tour to showcase what he can do. |

What I love is just how difficult test match batting is.
To see batsmen battle with their own technique and temperament and struggle to stay in is a huge part of cricket. Long live test cricket. |
