I think this pakistan has held well together. They got the worst of the weather imho atcrucial times. They got had no fifth bowler. One opener was a bunny and the ofther played catch with the fielders deliberately. Two old men have been magnificent.
Most impressed with Pakistan, the away team! Short comings no doubt but very creditable performance and guts |

This is a Spunk Filled Performance by Pakistan, I never knew they had it in them...Australia (twice) and India have not shown this amount of Spunk when in england last 3 years.

can only see pakistan winning from here; scoreboard pressure & 2 (possibly 3) batsmen playing for their immediate test match careers adds to the doubts about a big 2nd innings score - poor performance from england in this final test to date

It was all about Younis - showed his class when it mattered most which is what he has tended to do throughout his career. I don't think Eng will be that daunted by the deficit after Edgbaston but they really could do with Hales finally coming good.
I still think a 150-200 chase for Pak on the final day could prove troublesome. Eng just need to bat for the next 4 sessions, and a bit. I don't think Eng are capable of batting defensively either. With the batsmen they have and this being the Oval they will score quickly enough if they can keep wickets in hand. |

Score 100 tonight, 280 tomorrow.
Get bowled out before lunch on Monday and anything is possible with the chase. However, Cook won't declare and if Eng bat brilliantly, Pak can't win and neither can England. Basically it has to be a perfect storm of events for Eng layers to get twitchy. |
