100-3 slightly, but only very slightly Pakistans morning, however when you insert a side you really need 4 for it to be a great decision to insert, however Cook and Root both gone. England need Vince and Ballance to show the selectors, why they have been selected this afternoon and hopefully evening as well. England could end up 320/330-6, by the end of the day, or 200 all out and close to being out of the match.
By:
The good thing about pakistan is that they will always keep the opposition in the game. If England are 200 all out, Pak dont get too many either.
By:
Harder to bat on 1st morning, this pitch will get better to bat on, abeit when Pakistan get to bat on it, they are not as good a batting unit as England.
By:
think england will be happy if they can anything over 300. chances are then at worst they'd be level going into the 2nd innings
to justify putting england in they must bowl them out for no more than 250. you want a lead of something approaching 100 to feel confident batting last |
By:
Having just logged in after being out for the morning i fully expected Pakistan to be trading around the 7/4 mark bearing in mind England's top two batters were back in the shed. 3/1 is a gift. Boots filled.

Surely its time Vince and Ballance came good ?
England needs and so do I !! |
By:
any runs from these 2 is a bonus really
By:
Very true
By:
this is a big chance for them both.
probably no conventional swing now, not much spin, pretty slow deck, might start to reverse later on, side needs runs from them. |
By:
With Broad, Finn and Anderson still to come i'm starting to feel uncomfortable
By:
Talking of fielding like a camel. Whose the worst test fielder ever ? Tufnell must be close

By:
Dont think rain will be an issue, only light stuff

By:
Draw doesn't feel in play to me
By:
really windy as well
By:
was thinking lay draw if/when they come off but not looking likely
By:
England price should remain pretty constant with the rain around, so no need to rush in but I'm waiting for the right moment and LUMPY LUMPY
By:

By:

By:
what is the play PRO?
By:
true. I thought with the toss decision and hales playing well, that this was a road(grant onfirmed that too)
Last game, Eng didn't take long to be 1.55-1.6 from a starting price of 1.77. I was expecting something similar hence quickly lumped on England. Should have seen with the starting price that it was unlikely to happen again. Anyhow, i knew what i was getting into. |

Grant why are people so angry at you in the tennis forum? In the anti-megathread? they're complaining about you talking about pizzas and darts all the time.
When were you a tennis pro by the way? |
