Ideal scenario for NZ would be to get a wicket before the new ball.......get a new batsman in

Thanks a lot for the tips guys. One last question, what the hell does it mean when you guys say a lot of 'red' on srilanka or green on the draw. Does that mean you are 'currently at loss on your bet' or 'lay(which is red on betfair)'

NZ price creeping up as is the run rate. SL is my biggest outcome too but have only piffling amounts of green. Want to go in again but too early to make a decision.
|
|
By:
3 runs an over required. If this pair still in at lunch, I'll like SL chances.
Possible rain late in the day, but it should be all over by then. |

Thanks West Coast Eagles. I just cashed out a bit on the draw thinking the target was 300! Lol. Anyhow, im winning if its a draw or srilanka win. And its my funeral if NZ win.

By:
Next question is whether to get shot of any of my NZ green beyond the lays I've already got in place from yesterday. Suppose I could just back NZ and go a deeper shade of carmine on the draw. I'm almost tempted to let them ride, just in case they ride it home.

Is this all boiling up to the new ball?
|
|
By:
to be fair I think the pitch is still good for batting. Bowlers can rely on cloudy conditions (overcast) to possibly get some movement in the air.
|
|
By:
detraveller, no matter how well this pair is doing, the NZ win is by a mile the most likely outcome. Even a reckless gambler like me (okay, I'm overselling my recklessness, I do this to win) wouldn't want to be accepting a kicking on that.

It's 3 an over if we don't get rain. Draw price suggesting that won't be a problem.
|
|
By:
Richardson said it 'if McCullum knew the way this pitch would play out' he wouldn't have declared that early ............he said something along those lines

I think BMc saw the rain coming and that's why he declared at 400 and not more.

New Zealand odds just started moving a little.

NZ price crashes from 1.49 to 1.20 after that wicket

actually it did hit above 1.50

Hmm, too greedy on the NZ lays yet again. Oh well. I'm almost 1k green on NZ too so not going to complain.

First SL wicket not caught. I bet that doesn't happen very often

Would a further long odds back of NZ be trying to repeat a trick that's run its course this test, do you think?

As Danny Morrison would say thats 'GONESKI'

Just the decision on whether to cede a bit of my NZ green to cover a whole load of blocking with or without some rain getting them to stumps. It's just not a percentage bet though, I don't think. This is an easy NZ win from here, as it mostly looked all along.
