If You get, Root and in the in form Cook out, there isn't a lot in this England batting line up to worry about, there is always someone else who gets a 50, but I don't think that will save England in this Test, unless we bowl fantastically well.

206-3 now 217-6, will struggle to get to 300 unless these two can see out the hr to lunch?

surely the last over for wahab
By:
Great spell from Wahab, although not really anything exceptional in the wicket taking balls: batsmen under pressure playing shots badly.
Surprised the draw has moved back in to 6.6. This isn't a draw even if the England tail manages to drag this a long way out. Hmm, wish I'd put my money where my mouth was there. |

if the last 2 could eke out 40 odd runs..Pak collapse to 150 2nd inns..could Eng chase down a 250 target or is it totally out of the question?

great bowling by Pak after a good start to the session by Eng
By:
Pak touched 3.9 b4 Root wkt into 1.23..whoa
By:
Many will blame todays batting but the real issue is numbers 2 and 3 who are supposed to be the batsmen but don't get any runs.
By:
2 stands put on just over 200..the other 7..30 odd
Eng still have the propensity to collapse like a pack of cards |
By:
Well the problems with the batting are that nobody other than Cook and Root are any good, certainly in these conditions. It's unfair on Moeen to make him open, especially given the amount of bowling he's doing but main thing is he's not an opener and Bell is awful at the moment. Don't see how that excuses the lower middle order for being carp though.
Surprised you can still have Pak at 1.26: even if this pair manages to put plenty more on, and a wicket looks like it could come at any moment, it's still going to be a big deficit and even a dodgy second innings from Pak will still leave England a near impossible chase on a turning wicket. |

Hit the ground clearly for mine.
By:
Objectively, I don't give them a chance. The ball will turn even more in the second dig & Riaz is bowling well. Add to that Cook & Root have scored heavily so far & one of them is due a low score. Can't see any of the other players getting a ton if either of those fail.

The highest 4th innings on this ground in a test match scored by a team other than Pakistan is 252...by England.
If Pakistan can get 200 in their innings they'll be home and hosed. |

You have just listed all innings played on this ground.
Congratulations on managing that. What is the point of it? Pretty sure if you went through the extensive history of this ground, that more runs were scored in the last innings than the first innings, showing that it is easier to bat on day 5 than it is on day 1. The stats you are showing, show that it gets easier to bat at this ground, as each innings passes. Well done for being able to copy and paste, but if you can't comprehend what you are reading, why bother? |

Have taken advantage of the current high draw price to close out.
Not suggesting that there won't be a result but when I get past 80% of the potential yield of a bet I like to take profits. In cricket anything can happen. |

The problem with Rashid playing and Moeen Ali opening is that they really are struggling to know which team they are playing for.
By:
Fail to understand why England aren't at 20. Odds seriously flawed at 10;expect massive drift shortly.
By:
The thing about stat's is you can use them to put a spin on anything, the reality is the players of spin in Englands team aren't no where good enough to stop Shah taking wickets, Wahab bowled very well and started the rot. Time will not be an issue so it will come down to England trying to play spin.
