Its a 5 day Test slip, not a t20 match, they will probably give England between 25 overs - 35 overs to bat today.

Scoring at 3.6 an over.  2 wickets down, setting up a test match.  Don't think they are unaware of what is going on Grant.

England are front runners.  They have already conceded the game.  They are playing for the draw, as they always do when they don't win the toss.
Been that way since halfway through the first day.  The longer they field, the more they are resigned to playing out a draw, meaning the more chance they are at being bowled out for SFA.

if clarke not fit why he in team, I know he done a lot over the last 15 years for Australia cricket but he has to be 100 percent fit to play match

As ever it is massive risk/reward when the team batting seconds bats. Eng 30-0 after 10 & the draw will be 1.8. 2 early wickets and we are back to 3's.

maybe time for clarke to reconsider his future I don't think he looks one of those players that wont play test cricket in his late thirties, at least Tendulkar could slog the odd 4 when he was 37 years old

not entirely inconceivable eng aren't entirely out of this..get the aussies ouy sub 500..match that score or within hailing distance in good time..bowl aussies out cheaply..knock off the required runs apace..and bob's ur uncle
By:

When: 17 Jul 15 12:24
im saying clarke is 33 years old and he is struggling, I don't think this clarke can last another 4 years in test cricket
By:

and why Australia pick voges now when he 35, he should have played test cricket 7 years ago
