The weather forecasting system is either pretty dumb or completely misunderstood by most of us.  There should have been rain stoppages in most of the recent Test Matches not just in the Tropics. There have only been a few minutes lost in all that time when biblical thunderstorms were forecast.

I have a feeling the weather will be fine but have decided to neutralise my red on the draw tonight and maybe buy it back tomorrow morning.  There are two whole days left. Plenty of time for a SL victory.  Not going to cover a SA win.

penbud,

I think you make a good point,  I don't expect SA to have any chance of winning on this pitch and have left them uncovered.  The SA price has been intriguing me as I expected it to go further out then come in once a target was set, hoping for some easy money but didn't bother in case they were as likely batted out of this.

There is pressure on Matthews for an early declaration to a degree.  If he gets spooked by weather tomorrow morning he may well set less than 350 and that will present SA an opportunity, however remote. I think this pitch is possible to stay in if you are not chasing runs.

Russel Arnold said the pitch may " die " days 4 and 5 with no pace.  I personally don't think that will be the case and am not going to get involved in a speculative punt.

I still think SL win this.

topped up a bit on SL thus increasing exposure to draw. Still green on SA because you never know and not worth ditching at these prices.
Hopefully SL will go for it tomorrow with a good strike rate and declare by tea at the latest if not bowled out.

I've greened up for small amounts.

Don't want to try and predict when Mathews declares.

Also rain forecast for tomorrow looks a bit more solid than previous days.

today's radar. Should be raining now according to the satellite. I don't think it will ever rain again in SL!! Need to click the satellite button on the layers section

at least they are playing a few shots. Nothing worse than watching a team take forever to set up a target!

The worst thing about these forecasts is that aren't updated very often. Can sometimes be misleading

Pitch exploding - can't see SA LH's scoring many 2nd time around. Amla and ABDV will need to bat all day

with SL having a 200 lead already surely SA are a massive lay even @ 12 ?
By:

almost impossible for the lefties if they are defending. And if they get out attacking then that will not go down very well!

Wait until SL declare. The odds will plummet to about 5!

Once SL get 275 lead we should see a few 6's - test match end day 5 evening surely a good lay at 1.35 ?

SA price dropping cant see why as they must have plenty of time to build a score SA cannot reach but still have time to dismiss them hope you are jesting about an early declaration

I would of thought they will declare and give SA a sniff. Only my opinion, but they need to win & the best way to win is to dangle a carrot!

I think that because of the weather SL likely to allow a bit of extra time. Technically allowing enough for SA to win
