Laid  the draw.

Weather looks good all 5 days, although this is England so need to keep an eye on the forecast.

Lords normally produces a result when it doesn't rain.

Didn't follow the ODIs, but looking at the results, both teams blew hot and cold. So, if I had to pick a winner, I'd say SL on price.

England could have 3 debutents so hopefully they will do as well as Mark Craig just did for New Zealand.

Normally England beat Sri Lanka easily at home but they are looker much weaker than previously. Possibly 3 debutants and 1 player on his 2nd test makes 3 new players in the top 6. With yet another new opener and no Trott, KP or Swann.  Cook needs to find his form again and  they were soundly beaten in Australia. A draw seems unlikely with a good weather forecast so Sri Lanka looks better value to me at 4.3, nearly double England's odds. I'm not saying Sri Lanka are going to be better than England on English soil but just better value.

The way I see it, SL probably don't have the firepower to get 20 England wickets, even in current form... I'd be an Eng backer here. I will wait until the toss. I suspect with a decent Eng start, the draw will come in. I would imagine (and hope) a few SL wickets will tumble, so with SL batting first, I'll be on Eng for the off.

Lords doesn't produce draws this early in the season, so either of the other two result. Probably SL are better value than England imo

Sri Lanka for me - England look a bit too much like a one day side and with Cook and Bell looking shaky another collapse likely with inexperience in the middle order. Sanga and Jaya to show their class and spin causing huge issues for England at the back end of the match. BOOM !

fancy SL as well think the eng price is nutts, especially if lank bat 1st

Eng price is fine imo. SL just haven't got the firepower to beat England in England. The only times I can remember Eng losing at home to SL were on bunsens against Murali. One at the Oval yonks ago & other at maybe Trent Bridge/OT. The latter was one of the worst pitches ever prepared for a England team!

I reckon you could make money on SL before the game starts if they win the toss and bat. Fancy wickets early though - Lords first day usually has 2 or 3 down before lunch.
