Pitch will be at it's best days 2 and 3 Sl may only bat once. Still a long way to go. I think the good grassed pitch will help the better batsmen get easy runs as the game develops. |

Good start by SL on a great batting wicket. Should be enough to stop England batting them out of the game but still fancy England to get 400 here. Staying on the draw for now but biding time for an England lay.

England price is staggering given they have thrown 4 wickets away!
Missed last chance to lay England odds on, won't again. I did think bell was set fair for a good score and England 400+ despite loss of early wickets so didn't lay England then he was unlucky to get out or rather to go on a review. Moen showing how good this wicket is. Still happy with draw position and took a top up. A hundred run partnership by these two will send the draw price tumbling and a couple of the same from SL will too. Just hope to get in on the England lay but prefer it to go odds on. |

it could still be a draw.
this deck is going to flatten out and should be superb for batting on days 2 and 3. it's also possible that all the grass could hold it together all test. england are going to need the new ball to swing; unless the jelly babies come out you would imagine getting it to reverse isn't going to be at its easiest. |
