Cook out of nick? Couple of first class centuries this season

and i might add, that as Cook has considered that his captaincy style is going to be leading from the front* it's yet more pressure.
* The stats for England not losing when Cook wasn't captain and scored big, would be extremely hard to beat. So quite what an opener scoring big first up has to do with captaincy remains a mystery. Should Robson outscore him this summer, might we consider him a better captain? |
|
By:
Keeping never seemed to affect his batting but I suppose as he's getiing older it's probably a bit too much for him to do both. Especially when he's got a double hundred to score here !

morning Ladies,
Leg of lamb, salami and Danish Blue? I am on the breakfast of Champions...coffee and a cigarette ( sans the cigarette as I gave up smoking! ). Egg and bacon to follow, stuff of Empire. You can't fight a battle on a croissant! England to weather the storm for me and post a total of some sort. Pitch gets better here every day. Staying with the draw for a couple of days I think. Didn't get the England lay in before the off. Might have a cheeky punt if England go odds on! If England get a decent total I think SL will get a better one so will lay England! If SL outscore England I feel the pressure will be on England to if not save the match, then not lose it by being bowled out for a second time with enough time for SL to knock them off. Not going in heavy on this game either. Patience is my new watch word! Well done the 'Caps! |
|
By:
hopefully Herath will turn his arm over before lunch
|
|
By:
I think anyone on SL should consider reversing out right now as I am sure their price will go up this afternoon. England go odds on this afternoon. If you really do fancy SL I think it better to lay England later today and then get the better price on SL later in the match. At least that is how I see things going for now.
