why is that blake?

Test cricket is my number one and I guess I just prefer to see international standard players tested over over a longer format where as there is so much chance involved in T20

I think people listening to me would make more money than I do....  Always seem to get overexposed and miss the big swings.
Oh well, in the green zone for a few hundgey, can't complain too much.

Fair enough. This was once the bash n crash, wham bam thank you ma'am format. It no longer holds that mantle. And since it isn't the traditional format I don't see much of a future for it in our time sensitive lives. Understand what you're saying though.

Even money now.  Problem for England is we have 2 of him, better, opening the innings, and another 2 coming in at 5 and 6....
Think we may even see 2.10-2.20 Aus, at which point, may be a case of load up.

finch and warner better than morgan?  Not so sure imo.  Not in ODIs for me.
By:

When: 17 Jan 14 06:42
Yeah, I think it dies out too.  No room for all 3 IMO.  ODI sticking around now due to ages of cricket fans, but I think mainstream will be 3.5 hour games, and test match cricket for the purests and special occassions.

Will all die though.  T20 cricket is where all the money is, and as such is where people will try to make it.  The only place ODI cricket really plays atm is that it allows for slower scoring, to even allow test matches to take place.

About 20 runs ago they hit evens....

India p1ssing those chases against aus has the market believing that 300 is the new 250 it seems.  Aus aren't India though.

ALthough England's bowling attack looks a bit iffy.  Can't do any worse than the main boys did though can they?!

Laid a bit on 300+ at 1.20 for a possible trade

20/20 I think is the greatest thing Cricket has ever done. The one problem with cricket was always the time it takes to play out. Finding a format that not only reduced playing time to that of a football match, whilst increasing the tempo and entertainment, was pure genius. Whoever got the ball rolling in that aspect was a true innovator.

That had to be 6.

Morgan has the track record, and probably not a literal statement.  I rate Morgan very highly.

Morgan:
40 @ 86
Finch
35 @ 93
Warner
31 @ 81

Enough T20 form to show they have the ability to far surpass Morgan though, as both early in their career.

FTR
Bailley
55 @ 92
Maxwell
35 @ 130

Between the 4 of them, I believe they average at least 4 players of Morgans class.

But his feet were touching the ground behind the boundary then he jumped. Surely you can't launch from that position.

Have to leave from the field of play not outside it.  Otherwise you could sit in the crowd and as long as you jumped, catch it in mid air.

yeah fair point mate - down to opinion I suppose.  Morgan is just one of the very few England players that I rate highly.

Did they count it as 6? I don't think so. Oz backers could get a nasty surprise post innings.

Didn't see it but if he jumped from out of the rope, then it will definitely be changed to a 6.

He 100% jumped from outside. Feet planted outside then jumped straight up.

could have been carnage on the runs if the umps go back and look at the 6 on the boundary and give eng extra 4. Laugh

laid 1.03 for 150 quid and was trying to get a few quid at 50... went up to 29 ish.

Those last two overs undid a lot of Morgans good work. 20 runs short I think, but getting Warner or Finch early changes things.
