Clarke took his time getting out there. Pondering declaring...
By:
I would be backing the draw, Clarke has waited too long to declare, the game is slipping away imo
By:
Can't see why England won't be trading at >12.00 today. That has to be the play.
By:
if johnson was hitting the gay bars of perth in his swiss milkmaid outfit last night he might be a bit creamed
By:
Harris will still be 145+, Siddle 140+ here.
By:
Harris at Perth.
9/106 2/67 In the last game against England. Harris 9/106 Johnson 9/82 18 of the 20 wickets between the 2 of them. And people are talking as if Johnson is the only factor. |
By:
Same game Tremlett got 8/150.
Aus smart enough to have them both here. England? rotflmfao |
By:
laying england all the way, lay put in backs a few ticks higher, repeat til eng lose
By:
If Warner and Clarke can both get to 40 odd Australia could very well make 600
By:
Swann averages 52 in Australia. Last game here 26/40 wickets fell to bowlers going at 142+.
3 wickets taken by slow bowlers. The slower the bowler, the less effective. England should have gone Tremlett, Finn, Broad, Rankin. Left out Swann and Anderson. And they would have been a real show here. Aus could flatter Swann and get out cheaply at some point, but all expectations point to him being a wasted selection. |
By:
England price getting ready to rocket. Been a slow incline so far. Another 20 runs we see 6.40...
By:
Rankin would be great today. But England have about as much imagination as a caravan site.
By:
Tremlett Finn and Rankin. The top 3 picks for this pitch. None of them play. Why bring them?
By:
No idea mate. Stupid. Ben Stokes isnt very good
By:
Yeah. Mind boggling. England won here once in 35 years or something? They must know what is their downfall here. Maybe they buy into all the Anderson/Swann bullshit hype as well. lol. Broad you can understand, wicket a bit green, tall bowler, if he doesn't cause hassles off the seam has the right attributes to be dangerous anyway.
By:
lol. Aussies flatter him of course. Nothing ball nothing shot
By:
Did Strauss just say "bowling 80 miles an hour. Such potential". 80 miles an hour isnt quick ffs. Where is Tyrell Mills.
By:
*Tymal
By:
Even Stephen so far . Aussie batting a bit streaky so far .
By:
Streaky? Attacking taking the game on. Gave their wickets away really. They don't want to hold on to a 2-0 lead here, they are going for 3-0. England hanging around for the scraps and hoping Aus give the game away.
By:
Warner is here for a big one. Bailey should prosper too. Smith, if he can get 30-40, innings is set right up as far as I can see.
By:
Should Ashton Agar replace Watson at number 3?
By:
57 balls for the 100.

By:
wow. horrid shot. has played a few though
By:
Oh Warner. Why the need.
By:
If I couldn't bat Swann out here, I would give the game up. Seriously. Doing zip.
By:
43 degrees... No wonder...
By:
That was a ridiculous shot of Bailey's
By:
Game could be over tomorrow lol
By:
Bring them in skip, we got enough
By:
still nothing in the wicket, just awful batting
By:
Not 1 wicket yet where England contributed lol.
Agreed though. Because we already have enough. England picked up 10 clicks here. Imagine them against Harris at 150, Johnson 155+ lol |
By:
englands bowling is terrible.
By:
there's enough bad balls to hit. kamikaze stuff
By:
Bowling a better line/length now. Don't think the pitch is helping bowlers at all here. Looks a great wicket to score plenty.
So much depends on Cook as captain. If he can come out and play aggressively and take the game on, that will have a huge impact on the result. Smith is a busy batsman who values his wicket and is busy. Haddin in great form, and much more mature to rely on somewhat. Runs in the tail. Be surprised with any less than 300 here. England, who knows. Haven't scored more than 375 on pitches made for them, so hard to see them getting too many on here on what looks to be a super fast pitch, yet again. |
By:
As excited as England are getting though with this short pitched stuff, they must be sihtting fcuking bricks at the thought of batting against it.
Plenty of bruises to come in this match. Mental strength wins from here. In which case is a toss up from 2 teams that really cannot be counted on. |
By:
theres only broad who looks like causing any problems
By:
Anderson and Broad both up about 8 clicks on the other 2 games. Going to be an interesting day or 2 of cricket.
By:
Aussies could have played on 4 or 5 times so far. Aussies get
