Was at the 3rd day of the test match. England's body language looks shot, England would be about a 20/1 shot to survive 130 overs on this wicket. Their batsman dont have enough experience and grit to fight this out

Has there been any word on whether Stuart Broad will bat in the 2nd innings?

South Africa would be the only team in world cricket I would give a chance to at beating us in Perth given their conditions back home are not too dis-similar to that of ours. Hot and dry with fast bouncy pitches, suits their bowlers well and their batsmen would have grown up in the same conditions.
South Africa are a great team, last time we toured there it was a 1-1 drawn series. When we traveled India it was a bit of a joke really, players being sat out for not doing homework. It was a farce, a disgrace even. A lot has changed since then and I wouldn't be using that as the yardstick when ranking Australia in world cricket. Conversely, England went there and won so clearly something has happened since then, either we have improved out of sight or England has turned into the laughing stock, either way.. I am happy. ![]() I just want to add that Rohit Sharma is so talented, I wouldn't be doing the world justice if I didn't mention how talented he is, his semen oozes with talent. When he urinates, talent is being urinated. What a talent. India are flat track bullies, it's been proven how useless they are with the ball is zipping around. |

By:
England about evens to survive about 68 overs in 2nd dig......with the cracks opening up
By:
cook will ton up

By:
he has got a few starts and is well overdue for a big one.

Stuart Broad will not bowl again in the Perth Test, but has not given up hope of England saving the game to keep the Ashes series alive.
By:
Not think Pietersen due a knock silvs?
By:
just a hunch tough to make a bet on it.. kp and bell could also feature all depends on the state of the game
By:
How do you guys think this Aussie team will go against South Africa in South Africa in test matches? you still have to favour South Africa, their batting is a bit more polished, and bowling slightly better

No sea breeze today, but west wind similar. |

agree with much of the last 50+ posts
so, although early days, what do we think should happen when England get home? for me, coach gone, batting coach gone, cook returns to opening bat he has no captaincy skills, KP dropped for good go play IPL son with our thanks we will need a new coaching team, captain and to find some fast bowlers 5-0 drubbing |

Couldn't help but get 25-30 wickets on this pitch in 2 days cricket. Near lose a foot walking down the pitch in those "cracks". Seen fault lines smaller...

Anderson is superb in English conditions and will always be picked there
the selectors have been chinless farts for decades, nothing to be done for me Flower and Gooch need to go Cook, just open the batting thanks KP is done, nothing more coming from him, needs to go and let a youngster take his place and start learning his trade A true captain is desperately needed, this decision making by committee is total bollox - look at the field placings in the 1st innings of this match when Aus was 6 and 7 down. Clueless lots of changes needed, whole thing is a shambles as for Prior, he averages 41 with the bat in Test cricket and there really is no one to take over |
By:
He averages 41, Cook 47, KP 50 odd, Bell near 50, Root 40+.
How is that going for you though? 200 is a big score these days. Throw the averages out the window. How many runs does he need to make to make up for his keeping? I suspect 41 is not even close. |
By:
They're not doing the key test on the pitch, they're doing the iphone test.. he was able to fit his iphone 3/4 of the way down 1 of those cracks

By:
lmao..
Warner has made nearly half of what England have made so far.... ![]() ![]() |
By:
this is why the coach, batting coach and captain need to be changed
how many have got out pulling and hooking? that is down to coaches and captain, it's a mental thing, patience and the ability to wait for the bad ball has disappeared, all the chasing balls you don't need to hit, dangling the bat etc etc lots to be done but a proper coach with authority can do it and I haven't even thought about tactics especially in the field, fcuks sake they are not even doing fundamentals right |
By:
hahahaha Watto has come out to bat!
By:
Oh dear....
