Yes, just pointing out to put new players in to weaken our bowling, that is who we are dealing with.

And to make another point on this diminished bowling line up with Woakes in it.
He bowled 24 overs and took 1/96, with 7 maidens, at 4 per over.

Broad on the other hand, got 1/128 in 31 overs, with only 4 maidens, at 4.12 per over.  So he outperformed Broad.

Doubt any time before today.  Have to be just before lunch if they keep going.  Should have 400-450 lead, with 5+ sessions  at them.  No need to be heroes with 2 + days left to play.

David Warner's 100 is the 26th Ashes century by an Aussie opener since 1990:
19 by left-handers & 7 by right-handers (all by Mike Slater!) Plain

Strange how apparantly we are the ones that abandon our team when we aren't doing any good....  Been here for every minute for the last 2 series, and there is only 1 crew gone missing...

Putting the screws on though.  Only 3.4 an over for the last 10.  Momentum shift....  CryCry

400 enough?  lol.  251 was a huge effort for them.  400 is just embarrassing.  The expected 450-500?  lol.  They may not make that in the last 2.5 tests..

Gee, I don't know.. maybe because he just got to the crease?

And yeah, I don't recall missing any of the last series.  Sat through about 10 posters on here simply to abuse me for months, and if I missed a ball it was because I was asleep on the job or got called away for bubba, which no doubt happened at some point.

That is their problem.  They hunt you down to give it, but unless they are doing well, they are nowhere.  Difference is, I made money last series, and this series.  They made money last series, and I bet plenty of them have done their nuts this series.  Yet we are blindly patriotic...  rotflmfao

The damage is done.  They just need to bat the overs now.  No weather, already enough runs.  Just stay out there, no need for risk.  Game close enough to over, but no point being a hero and giving them 2+ days to chase 320 when you have 8 wickets to play with.

And no point throwing your wicket away when there is no need to.

How about when we were getting smashed and Agar comes in at #11 or whatever it was and nearly scored a 100, yet everyone expected it to happen as the entire forum was green on their betting accounts after his innings when Australia had taken the lead in the game

With those cracks on day 3, no rush to declare.  Keep the runs coming.  Tire them out.  They are over it already and if they had the choice would declare the game over themselves.

That was laughed off day 1 of the series ffs.
I think of course they care more about other things, hence why they are on top.  Because England care about what Australia say, and Australia couldn't give 2 sihts about what they say.  They understand they control their own game, not anybody else, and certainly not some 2 bit bowler like Anderson.

He missed the stumping and Warner made a ton, before any of them knew he was at the crease...

England has done well to get all the overs in after Australia's feeble effort in the morning session.

20 overs in 110mins. Ffs.
