too bad they originate from a country where this sort of heat is unheard of, 38 degrees for at least 4 days of the test match, the hottest day ever recorded was 38.5 degrees and these poor **** have to play a test match against a team winning 2-0 in a best of 5 series to try and hold onto the ashes NO CHANCE.  only reason England made 300+ 2nd inning in Adelaide was because the pitch slowed up, they could seriously get smashed here pillar to post, haven't won a game in Perth since 1978  |

Australia, have wrecked the betting for this 3rd Test, by winning the first 2. I was hoping England would be ahead in the series and the Aussies would have been around 4.0 to win this one. The fact is England are hopeless on bouncy wickets, not only in Australia, but also South Africa. There is no way back for England in this series and Australia, will win this match, as comfortably as they have the first two and although 1.75 is a short price, it ought to be the easiest 75% profit, you'll ever get.

How is this for a stat? In the Last 957.5 overs bowled in the Morning Session at the WACA , a total of 111 wickets have fallen. That is an average of 1 wicket falling every 8.69 overs (around 52 balls) or so. Its a wicket that always offers something for the bowlers in the morning session. I dont think the toss will be a bad one to lose in my opinion, as I think it will be a battle to see which team can 'get bat the best on this wicket'. I do agree that in terms of bowling, they are pretty even.

Also No chance this match goes into a 5th day. WACA management will be desperate for this to go to 4th day, and better if it was to go to a 5th day. Remember WACA get NO Test match next season..........they have been shunted (because of World Cup next season)

I've had a small bet on it finishing inside three days. Around 9/1 was too big for me not to get involved. England could get blown away, and Australia's batting isn't all that either.
I'm just glad the extra cash following my remortgage won't come through til next week, or I'd be tempted to lay the draw at what is a big SP for the draw in Tests between two "decent" teams. |

Was at the ground yesterday and it was pretty warm. The english batting practice was very low intensity, just throwdowns really.

The 2nd test match proved that this game will be a walk in the park for Aus, they tried to take on the short pitch bowling and crack a few hook shots.. that's how a majority of them got out too.. in the first game they ducked and weaved and that didn't help, 2nd game they tried to fight fire with fire and that didn't work, I predict they will pick the tallest fastest bowlers they got but batting hasn't been an issue for Australia thus far in this series, I know it has been in the past but not so much this series
England HAVE to find a way to score runs, if they don't.. the ashes are coming home |

England made 187 and 123 here last time. After coming in off similar figures this series, can't help but feel this could be over before lunch on day 4.
Tremlett took 8/160 odd here last game, against better batsmen, so all is not lost for England. Finn got 5 too. Swann also excelled with 2/104 or so. Have to see a result here. Will see who is batting first, and how the mood of the 2 teams are before placing a bet though. Australia much better when they are on, and nearly as bad when they aren't. My tip is Warner and Bailey will make plenty here. |

Amazing how some confidence and aggression papers over the cracks so neatly and turns momentum 180 degrees.  Not sure there's much between them , confidence aside...and perhaps Warner.....think Carbery and Root in particular will be good soldiers for them in the future. Muppets on here have left in droves  |

got to think Johnson is going to destroy these mentally fragile England batters, under 250 first innings runs looks right, so laying 250 or more at 1.7 is value to me, if 2 or 3 go down early that will drift big time
