I agree about the panic potential, especially with some rain likely tomorrow morning.
By:
i cant see england getting 200, they look shot. and the mid to lower order is pathetic. an early wicket and its callapso time.
By:
3 down at the close of play with rain on monday morning and the draw hits 1.35.
inferred price is about 4-1, which i think is big. i also think they'll be plenty of scope to reverse hard if england look like doing the house of cards routine. |
By:
Although draw has already come in substantially. I backed at 8.2 after stumps yesterday. Now at 7. And I am laying at this level.
The only risk I see is Clarke delaying the declaration and thats v unlikely. |
By:
sideshow - i think once prior gets in and there are more than 30 overs left, it's probably close to curtains.
but that's not what this position is about. it's about cook turning up, pietersen acting responsibly, and root carberry and bell doing their thing along with some forecasted rain on monday morning. |
By:
cant see em batting for more than half an hour. maybe knock off a quick 40-50 runs.
if theres rain in the air they may declare straight away. |
By:
draw dropping probably due to that big blob of blue on the rain radar. worth keeping an eye on. looks like it may delay the start.
By:
rain approaching bottom left of the radar
By:
well probably not delay the start, think its moving too slow. but it is heading ominously towards adelaide.
By:
and its big
By:
Why are England 100 instead of 1000?
No chance of making the current deficit never mind what they might be set. Have a red the size of the national debt against them and no intention of reducing it. |
By:
why is Engl price moving in on news of rain?
![]() |
By:
its about 30-40 minutes worth of rain i reckon. probably hit adelaide about 1:30 uk time?

By:
Aussies declared?
By:
latest radar picture it appears to be petering out slightly. that may be what pushed the draw out one tick. this is awkward tbh. i wouldnt wanna be stuck with a big red either way.
ooh aussies declared |
By:
theyve looked at the radar. very good decision by the aussies there.
By:
that is a bit of a suprise, but Clarke is very innovative with his declaration. One thing is, he is always pushing the game ahead
By:
England @ 75 might be worth a bet from a trading perspective. There is still ample time left in this game.
By:
anyone prepared to have a prediction on Morning Session Runs?
By:
the declaration pretty much negates the possibility of rain.
the rain definitely appears to be petering out the nearer it gets. may be nothing by the time it gets there. |
By:
declared
By:
One thing about rain: is you can never be sure if its coming in or out, look at the NZ V West Indies game, when 1000 got smashed on the Draw, and 1.01 on NZ
By:
objectively, 1.2 aussies is huge with 2 days to go
By:
ive just had a grand on at 1.2
By:
i trust radars, i dont trust forecasts.
By:
evening gentlemen and australians.
once again, life is offering you the opportunity to make 1.5% interest on your money in about a day, laying something that's never happened in thousands of instances, and looks especially unlikely to happen here. |
By:
England got no bottle , shocking shot by captain
By:
you need to bat for 2 days so you bring out that shot? Great example Cook lad.
By:
gone. wow.
By:
fcuk me dead
By:
...even more unlikely now
![]() |
By:
it was a decent ball, but wtf is he doing with that shot??
2 days to bat out and he does that! |
By:
way this is going I think the whole team could be going home with a "stress related illness".
By:
Warner must be seething at not being allowed to get his century. Especially as they're only going to need a couple of sessions to bowl us out.
By:
i'm betting on oz but this is the sourest money I've ever won
By:
price barely moved...
