Great atmosphere, crowd cane to life when Haddin was recalled. This new Adelaide Oval is something very special. Hoping to see Pup go on with the job and make a big score.

Cook appeared to concede this match after about 10 overs this morning. If you concede the best batsman is the world a single whenever he wants it he will make as many as he likes. I would be very disappointed seeing the field setting if I was supporting the English.

Whispering Death, $7.50 for a mid strength. Expensive enough but well worth it

dstyle why are you questioning cooks pathetic captaincy?

surely that horse has bolted too and we all know he is too defensive and generally poor, time to accept that fact and just hope a new leader puts their hand up asap.

Wicket doing nothing . If England hold their nerve when they get in to bat this match is only going one way --a draw .

Reckon Aussies will bat through to over 500 about an hour before stumps . Bed now .

Castiron, I have decided that partaking tonight at Pirie is not the best idea. Be assured tomorrow nights work is done!

I don't think so.  I think they accelerate.  550 is my number, and they want plenty of time tonight to try and take 2-3 wickets.  Get bowled out for less, so be it.  They have decent runs on the board, and attacking will either work for them giving a chance to win, or not, but shouldn't help them lose.  Really a no win situation playing safe now.

Yeah, bit hard for them to hear the facts though.  Easier to simply let them watch the reality....  lol

Anderson 3/224 now in this series...  And I am not at all surprised...

No doubt he will come on again when Australia are hitting out and get a cheap 1 or 2 charity wickets to help him out though.

Again...  lol

Wicket is even worse than usual for Adelaide....
You can always count on days 2,3,4 as a yawnfest  here
this may be day 5 as well

Think this drop in will not break up like most are expecting...

Eng are a rabble if they cannot make 400 plus on this.

Who is expecting it to break up?  It is still made up of the same grass that tends not to break up...

As for spinners, your world class Swann took 2/215 in the first test and has 1/107 here.  3/322 so far this series from 83 overs.  Nearly 4 an over with a wicket every 27 overs.

Lyon on the other hand has 4/63 from 29 overs.  Just over 2 an over, a wicket every 7 overs.

Clarke no doubt disappointed he couldn't get 3 double centuries in a row at Adelaide and only averages 120 or so after getting out cheaply.  Not quite as much as Haddin averages here.  Cry
By:

When: 06 Dec 13 03:58
Haddin only averages 152 here.  No doubt disappointed too.  If he wasn't facing the best bowling attack in the world, and the best team to ever play, maybe it would be higher...  CryCry

That Harris LBW was pretty terrible from third umpire, obvious it hit the pad first. Glad the shocker has come in a situation where it barely matters.
