Aus comms were going on about how this was a huge toss to win. That and the grounds keepers comments make think this pitch will do quite a bit days 4 and 5.
Batting last will be a big disadvantage. So I'm laying England here. |
By:
I'm hoping England can somehow bowl Oz out for
By:
less than 350 - anything close to 400 or worse & we are struggling
By:
Problem is for England to post a total excess of 500 it's going to take 3 days
By:
nearly every toss is a big toss to win.
unless youre playing on the beach. |
By:
i dont think this match remain play on 5th day i think its draw match coz i am accepting rain because of this i lay draw also if aussie stand on pitch 2nd day of 2 half thats means its a dead pitch and easy to bat
By:
butt what exactly are you trying to say
By:
dunno what butt is trying to say, but im glad he isn't a commentator if that's his expert opinion.
By:
I really think we are struggling (ENg) on this deck. A few went through the top yesterday and that to me is a key indicator of a pitch, especially on day one

poms no hope 'ere IMO

By:

By:
seeing Monty now--unlucky 1st ball
By:
Clarke looks a bit iffy with his bad back
By:
6 w/d
By:
Warne gets more ridiculous every time i see him. I was going to ask what that was on his face....but then I realised it WAS his face!! And as for his hair - dear god, he looks like Mike Flowers Pops.
By:
Come on England stop being mugs!
By:
bad back my @rse
By:
Aussies have been so lucky England need to reel this in this is disgusting bowling
By:
Australia looking to accelerate in the morning session and take the game away from England
By:
I can't stand Clarke so to see him bat so well this morning is painful but he looks ominous and could take this away from England by mid afternoon.
By:
Im reading his book at the moment '2013 Ashes Diary' by Michael Clarke but I dont think he writes that good
By:
Carberry
By:
Carberry's fielding been very nervous in his first 2 Test matches
By:
Carberry again not making it count FFS
By:
what do England need to hold it to?
By:
Carberry twice has the chance to dismiss Haddin and has mugged it up twice
By:
I dislike him imensely but he is very good batsman at times, great feet.
By:
England need to hold it to 400 i think.......its a high scoring ground, but England will be happy to take a draw from this, but its whether their batting line up can survive on this pitch for a good 1.5 days 120-150 overs.I still have a bit question mark on their middle order: Carberry, Stokes, Root , an out-of-form Matt Prior
By:
under 450 and I think England still have a chance at winning this test
By:
^^^ batting line-up, Some of these guys are still playing their way into the team and haven't really cemented their spot

Im reading his book at the moment '2013 Ashes Diary' by Michael Clarke but I dont think he writes that good ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "...I dont think he writes that good"........... , indeed, you don't say! |
By:
Aussies scoring a run a minute, 'attacking cricket' in test cricket= means winning cricket. I think Clarke will want to have a little dig at the Pommies tonight, its way of playing since his taken over the captaincy. Left themselves about 10-15 overs at England tonight...............one think about his captaincy , is Clarke doesn't wait for the game and sit back, he goes out to attack for the win (at the cost of losing a game)
By:
England canae catch
By:
Odds of England winning this test are currently about 10/1 on here - and that is in fact about right, if anything a bit on the skinny side.
By:
England have set the field back and gone defensive, Andersen is bowling with no slips in place
