John Arlot was my favourite, Jonners then Blowers.  Tuffers is my comedic favourite but does a good double act with Henry like you said!.

I see Watson has been netting well to overcome his technical deficiency of playing around his front pad!

Genuine off-topic query:

Watching with my little boy and he's asked why they wear white stuff on their faces?
Rogers currently has it on his lips

What is it and what's it for?

you, me and Boycott Whispering.

It's typical of the risk averse blindside thinking of the selectors; that blindness being that they fail to offset the runs Woakes may score (over say Finn or Tremlett) against the runs he will concede off his bowling.

Market is not dead.

-   5 M traded already, 1/30th way through the game
-   People in the long grass, minding /monitoring position
-   Snipers waiting
-   Bottom-dwellers nipping and tipping away at the edges continually
-   Shrewdies playing the long game

and T20 specialists pulling their hair outGrinGrin

Dstyle,

I am second guessing they know what Finn can do, he should have played today.  They want to see if Tremlett still has it, he really should have played today if you are planning for Aus.  I think they are looking beyond this Test because either of Finn or Tremlett should have played but are looking for a replacement for Bresnan and they have found one in my book!

I am waiting in the long grass but my bet would have been to back the draw at 3.6 ante post and lay it back tonight or tomorrow.  Maybe would have layed England and bought it back tomorrow.  Well that is what I did at Lords and I got my troosers taken down all because Australia could only bat 53 overs on a good batting pitch so have had to err on the side of caution!

This time I think they can post a good total but I also think England are capable of batting long too and maybe Australia will be batting last again!
