Watson 20 x 50's, 3 x 100's......usually struggles to convert it to big scores........reckon he is primed for a big one this innings

http://www.kiaoval.com/homepage/ West Coast, The Oval is a great ground, capacity somewhere between 25 and 28,000 It is a real people's ground. It is the favourite ground for immigrants of every hue. It is the opposite of Lords ( i like Lords too ). They have to close the bar here for an hour every afternoon! My abiding memory is of 1976... The West Indies are a good side but when they are down they grovel and I intend to make them grovel! http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63167.html Whispering Death takes 14 wickets! The crowd is full of west Indians. Richards hits 291. the summer of '76 |

i suppose the brightside of an australia win would be a juicy england price in the series down under. still expect them to throw this away soon.

COME ON JIMMY!

By:
it lost BJT, and heavily! i'll happily admit to losing a bet. i'm on england here too and am sweating. suppose you're on australia but will trade out just before they collapse?
|
|
By:
I am on nothing at the moment. Layed England at the start and traded out already. Haven't seen an opportunity to have a bet for a while though so just sitting tight til I get one.

Nicky,
sadly Grieg is no longer with us and I miss his commentary and insight , however , that was the biggest mistake he ever made , the ol 'grovel' quote ....'76 was an awesome summer too , one of the hottest ever in England I'm afraid I didn't forgive him for that. I only recently found out more about him. He was unfairly vilified for betraying English cricket over the Packer Affair and this wasn't right. We were fed the party line by people like Dung Arrshole and I think Alec Bedser and the like. These are the same jerks responsible for D'Oliveira not being selected for South Africa ( plus Sir Alec Douglas-Home ). He was a great guy but we never really saw that after he left us for Aus. |
|
By:
will be interested to see how Aston Villa play, if the same Chelsea that rocked up against Hull tonight, think Villa might be worth a bet
