You guys!

5pm and it'll be nice, warm and humid.  The 'death says the ball will reverse and we may well have a flip flop before end of play.  I still like the double play of lay Aus and lay the Draw at sub 2.6.

And nobody is getting carried away.  It is very quiet in here when England aren't favourites.  FACT.

Amazing how quiet this place is when England aren't favourites.

----------

...and it's a sunny day and the series is long won.

West Coast,

I agree with you entirely.  The big question is who will be batting last on this pitch?

So all the people that make their living, or love betting on the cricket, aren't touching this game because the series is won.

Great point.....

England most likely............I think 400 on this turf is good batting first up

Steph had his first post just now in about 3 tests when England weren't favourites.

Doubt England will get 500 or more batting 2nd on this wicket

Well, decided to take a red all-round on this one. Was too impatient, dunno why I got involved so early (well, I do, I'm an idiot). Fight another day...

Have the draw at 2.65, so I think it bottoms out here.

WCE

I remember a test here when SA got a big score first up and I think declared.  England ended up winning the match!

Aus must get nearer 450 for me, at least and then they can pressure England.  The pitch should bat well into day 3 but is already showing signs of what is to come.

England will need to bat in excess of 5 sessions or they will be in a bit of trouble.  I don't see this going to a draw

maybe we should all take a leaf from your book and post more and more seething bile the worse our team does.

new ball could be the key here, the wicket seems a bit flat for my liking. Swann and Kerrigan have been ineffective with spin so far

I don't think it will be a draw.  My price is what I think the market will have it at, based on the current condition of the match, and the SP.

Just because you write it doesn't make it so.  But keep trying.

Do England start favourites when they play under this summer? in Australia?

They showed the original Django here recently with Franco Nero.  It was pretty good, music and all!  Unchained is also a very good film.  I hope your beer doesn't taste too bitter this evening if England get late wickets.

Been watching some of the Oscar nominated films: Les Miserables, Argo, Anna Karenina, Life of Pi...I followed odds closely for the Oscars on betfair, most of the favourites won. Money doesnt lie

Games at the WACA, Brisbane, Australia would start as favourites........think SCG, MCG favour England......Adelaide is neutral for my liking.

i think the Draw will be around 2.20-2.50 if Aus close with 3 wickets down. Australia will want to go home with a win for sure. I also think England would take great pride in whitewashing the Aussies 4-0. Draw is the right place but I wouldnt be backing it at this stage of the game
