Rain often below the radars as well here.

I remember what happened at Headingley last month: it brightened up @ 4pm but the match had been called off by then. I know because I was there unfortunately!
By:
other images show a big bank of rain coming behind it too, radar doesnt extend out into the sea very far, and so makes it look as if the rain will stop, when it won't.
By:
the bank of rain out at sea isn't heading for the uk. the rain will be gone by 1230.
By:
the main advantage anybody backing no has is that no overs have been lost yet so the idiots will play far too many overs when they get going.
an incomplete match effectively means england are out as the game tomorrow will be completed and won by sri lanka. |
By:
doubt it

This will get interesting. Basically if there is a small break in drizzle and they start we complete. If not, radar looks full until past 3pm.

NO completed match 1.9 now
By:
were into odds on no completed match again. fingers are going to be burned again.
i can't understand how people can get themselves into such markets. |
By:

By:

By:
if it gets to 1.1 on no before 1300 im gonna have a go. certainly wouldn't risk much cash on it.
By:
back above evens.
By:
God knows why odds are flip flopping like this, rain remains for a while yet, no change

sky pictures going - await CMM panic
By:
40 mins lost..i think overs start reducing after 20 more minutes isnt it?

Mate in Swansea says it's hooning down now.

rain for a few hours yet according to met office rain radar so a 20/20 not out of the question
By:
how wet will outfield still be even if rain stopped at say 3pm very little chance of any match imo
By:
Fair enough, but I don't have any mates in Barry

Coming in now. Cricinfo just showed this:
http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ |
By:
By looking at the 'Rain Today' website, and measuring how much the backend moved between 10 and 11 and assuming it will continue at the same speed I estimate it will leave Cardiff at around 5pm so too late to start a 20-20 match
By:
completed match NO looks good now
By:
that's enough of a move on the CMM for now. Looks like a clear space on radar after 2:30pm

The more overs that are lost the better chance the Kiwis batting second must have, would that be a fair assumption.?
