I do love Test Cricket but one of my life ambitions is to sit or rather stand in the Harleyford Road area and drink Stripe all day and not watch any cricket because you can't really at square leg particularly if you have been drinking. I miss those days but I started in the 70's. The young Carrib's have no pride and don't know what cricket is. At least the young Indians born in this country come out to support the Land of their fathers even if they know jack all about cricket! I might be inspired to go down to Lashings to watch future games if this persist's. I have a ticket for England V Lanka at the Oval, picknic provided by my accountant who is a Lankan and a good cook! |

I'd like to see if it swings late afternoon / early evening and will the pitch take spin? Then the game might get interesting if Pak post 220+ but I think this is an Albatross.

When it comes to collapses...there are few sides which would beat Windies to that..so if Pakistan scores 200 I am staying away from backing Windies.

Agreed - this Pakistan attack is very good. Of course Gayle/Samuels might make 200 look like a walk in the park, but they could easily get bogged down in a modest chase if they lose a couple of wickets.
