Will Windies batting crush Pak. or will Pak bowling crush Windies. I'd say the former, but surprisingly to me, some commentators have Pak as favourites.

I've lost too much money on Pak over the years. Too many games they should have won and didn't. If WI bat first and get a halfway decent score then they should be good for the win.

The Windies have some very very dangerous batsmen and will surprise in this tournament, but I see Pakistan, as one of the more likely winners and I like the West Indies chances as well, but they need Gayle to fire regularly at the top of the order.

Gayle to get them started, Pollard to finish it off.  Looking forward to this game tomorrow.

would like pakistan to bowl first.

a windies batting lineup that has grown fat on the plentiful dross served up in the IPL may not have the wherewithal to deal with this attack.

having backed Pakistan to win the tournament, I agree DStyle.....cloudy at mo. 3 miles from the Oval but I think it will brighten up later..i think the team that wins the toss will, however, bowl first.

Pakistan very average against Ireland. A decent gayle performance will see this price nosedive.

PS I cant find the market for no balls on 4th ball of the 6th over...

West Indies ask Pakistan to bat, a very strange decision, perhaps they think, there will be some life in the wicket early on, but in June in England, that is very unlikely, as the light hours 3.45am-10.00pm means there is no overnight moisture from dew overnight.

Happy enough to see that as a WI backer. Reckon this is going to be a high scoring tournament, and the market may well take a while to adapt. Anything getting up towards 300 will be a big fave, until teams start chasing them down!!

Come on Pakistan, get a decent score, I want Pollard to have a chance of getting some runs today.

Well I couldn't call them my White Knights now could I?

This competition is so open.  They have strength in key areas.  Good accumulators, good strikers, wickets takers, great fileders and Narine?  I want to see how effective he can be in ENgland in a 50 over game.  I shall get my Windies shirt out of the cupboard I think but I am on Pakistan early doors

Get it out, Whisperingdeath and back them as well to win the comp, if you haven't already. West Indies are a very dangerous side, its just a shame that there aren't the many carribeans getting to the Oval, these days, it used to be great when they all went there and made a right din in the 1960's

I am out!

Take my beating like a man!  Should have waited.  Having said that They have enough batsmen to mount a limited recovery but not throwing good money after bad.  Small loss,
