Windies for me at 2.06
By:
i'm all over the windies, pakistan are not a good team.
By:
The Windies have some very very dangerous batsmen and will surprise in this tournament, but I see Pakistan, as one of the more likely winners and I like the West Indies chances as well, but they need Gayle to fire regularly at the top of the order.
By:
Gayle to get them started, Pollard to finish it off. Looking forward to this game tomorrow.
By:
would like pakistan to bowl first.
a windies batting lineup that has grown fat on the plentiful dross served up in the IPL may not have the wherewithal to deal with this attack. |
By:
having backed Pakistan to win the tournament, I agree DStyle.....cloudy at mo. 3 miles from the Oval but I think it will brighten up later..i think the team that wins the toss will, however, bowl first.
By:
Pakistan very average against Ireland. A decent gayle performance will see this price nosedive.
By:
PS I cant find the market for no balls on 4th ball of the 6th over...
By:
West Indies ask Pakistan to bat, a very strange decision, perhaps they think, there will be some life in the wicket early on, but in June in England, that is very unlikely, as the light hours 3.45am-10.00pm means there is no overnight moisture from dew overnight.

By:
Happy enough to see that as a WI backer. Reckon this is going to be a high scoring tournament, and the market may well take a while to adapt. Anything getting up towards 300 will be a big fave, until teams start chasing them down!!

pitch report anyone pls?par score here
By:
2 top motivat
ng anthems.. |
By:
Apols, misread cri****'s post. Would have preferred WI to bat first
By:
really, betfair??
By:
Riaz, Jamshed, Pollard and Sarwan I want to do well in this.
By:
in particular Pollard as he is the captain of my ICC fantasy team for today.
By:
I dont rate Imran Fartha.
By:
as proven there
By:
Lots of early wickets so far, in the warm up games and yesterday.
By:
might pay to oppose all the batting teams early doors
By:
anybody can see century in this match?
By:
trying to lay Windies. Pak should set a decent total but I fancy WI to chase
By:
bye bye
By:
Nice 1.52!
By:
Windies are my dark horses. No offence intended!

perhaps, its not such a strange decision, bowlers, bowling well and getting some movement, as well.
By:
Come on Pakistan, get a decent score, I want Pollard to have a chance of getting some runs today.
By:
Well I couldn't call them my White Knights now could I?
This competition is so open. They have strength in key areas. Good accumulators, good strikers, wickets takers, great fileders and Narine? I want to see how effective he can be in ENgland in a 50 over game. I shall get my Windies shirt out of the cupboard I think but I am on Pakistan early doors |
By:
boom
By:
Jeez, i only went to make a cup of tea - what happened??
By:
3 down is what happened

Get it out, Whisperingdeath and back them as well to win the comp, if you haven't already. West Indies are a very dangerous side, its just a shame that there aren't the many carribeans getting to the Oval, these days, it used to be great when they all went there and made a right din in the 1960's
By:
Pakistan life savings on WI , he must have known the 3rd man would catch that
By:
I am out!
Take my beating like a man! Should have waited. Having said that They have enough batsmen to mount a limited recovery but not throwing good money after bad. Small loss, |
By:
Pakistan batsman can't play seem, zero chance winning any competition in England
By:
Nice to see Jamshed is not out yet.
By:
quality stuff from roach. Just hope that pakistan can inch towards 200 now as I have windies (along with NZ) most tournament sixes
