127 overs remain in match

By:
Only if we get the full 37 in tonight.

Willis to eat a straw hat - 18/1 shot.

eng could well b single figs by end of play

Wouldn't surprise me. Mad price. If you backed at 50s, you've made an evens plus trade, simply for England scoring 49 runs.

quick question for anybody out there! I'm listening on the radio & watching on the tv, yet if there is a wicket, the odds change almost instantly or before the radio. How is that possible? Also if there is rain, (especially before start of play), how does the market react so quickly?
By:
just people at the ground jucel in regards to your first question or possibly even watching on NZ tv.
in reply to your 2nd question lots of reasons: radars, local information, inside information from groundsmen etc, lots of ways really |

saves me doing mad sums, i was thinking , hang on ..150/1 by stumps..330 to win..could they?
By:
I wouldn't even bother doing those sums, because England aren't.
By:
no i know..but this game plays wierd tricks in your mind
By:
15 runs in 35 minutes
By:
Current run rate is 2. No way are England planning on winning this match.
By:
no the whole mindset would have been one or zero wickets down at lunch tomorrow and have a wee think
By:
** By current, I mean recent - 10 overs.
By:
not even taking quick singles now
By:
Should be wrapped up by mid afternoon tomorrow
By:
If I was pricing when this TEST MATCH END, Morning 40, Afternoon 3, Evening 1.47
By:
judging by the spreads england should be out their misery by roughly tea time.
By:
i will be amazed if england make it to the afternoon session.
By:
Not much to do here except lay England around 200.
I'd say match end in the hour before tea. NZ attack without swing is a bit popgun. 2 wickets before lunch then wrap up the bowlers in the afternoon. |
By:
u mugs were told . that is all .
the greatest |

By:
I don't know too much about test cricket betting
but is 1.29 NZ not a gift? |
By:
It would be a monumental rearguard if England were to salvage a draw
The question is who is England's Faf du plessis tomorrow? |
By:
90 overs..6 wickets.. 8/9 fielders crowded around the bat, as you say it would be absolutely monumental if they escaped with a draw
By:
...so 1.29 would be seen as a gift?
By:
i price it up about 1.09/10
By:
1 of the wkts is Finn. 1.1 would be very short. Root has shown he can bat time. kiwis are not free money
here at all although i expect them to win. |
By:
As sweetc says, NZ can set a completely attacking field. With a bit more deteriation in the wicket. Just blocking will be difficult.
By:
I would rather lay than back 1.29 for trade.
By:
england are mugs , simple as . shocked they are not 1000 already
By:
Agreed PJ, personally I like the NZ lay for an early trade think England will will soak up a good 15 / 20 overs before they lose their next wkt and likewise you have further opportunities with Bairstow, prior, Root, broad etc, only 90 overs left and you always get the draw panic on day 5

By:
same scenario as Oval this year vs SA. we were 4 down overnight and similar odds here to survive the day.
Saffers hit 2.7 then i think. hopefully Bell and Root can survive the 1st hr. |
By:
have to disagree with u guys, think this NZ 1.27 could be a train tommorow all the way to 1.01. Market will probably be a bit stable for the first 10 overs or so tommorow. But do expect at least 1 wicket in tommorow's morning session
By:
NZ should win, which current market price indicates, however i will be suprised if NZ do not trade much bigger than 1.28 at some point
