boycott hasn't said they can win. He says they can draw & he's licking his lips. wanting to bat against this 'lollipop' bowling!

new ball is due soon

By:
fancy nz to get the job done with the new ball tbh. One wicket before then and they'll be feeling confident enough.

from cricinfo...
Lindsay: "sadly NZ still struggle to grasp the concept that to win a test match you generally have to take 20 wickets" David McCullough: "Its simply a rare treat for us to be playing on the 5th day of a test that has had no rain delay. Many NZ supporters were not aware that tests could go for 5 days." |

draw looking very big now. it does seem as though the roller has some effect on this drop in wicket, making it good to bat on early in the day, so with the triple whammy of
i. that wearing off ii. the new ball iii. the big ginger lummox being the next man in i can see plenty of upside in a healthy back until just before lunch. |
|
By:
That's Mr Big Ginger Lummox to you!

anybody think of any cricketers in the last 40 odd years that played professionally at football and cricket, i can think of david bairstow, arnie sidebottom and chris balderstone...any others?
