I think the point is that Engaland can only go so high for a good while yet so that means.....

Nz could quite easily declare an hour before tea here provided they aren't all out.

I think PJ made a very shrewd move to be fair as the insurance was built in fairly stoutly.

There have been only 3 successful 300+ plus chases in New Zealand. The last time a team chased over 300 was in 1996.

deserves to.  It's almost GSM that they can't win assuming no silly declaration.

reckon if you could get afternoon session runs, reckon it will go over 95.5 runs easily

By:
Dr.Cypionate
When: 24 Mar 13 23:57
no..the price went from 1.63 to 1.68 in 3 balls then with nothing scored..ridiculous

so when nz score runs they drift and when they lose wickets they go in..i get it
By:
Sudoku_Junior
When: 24 Mar 13 23:59
Price is drifting as people see that nz are smashing it around, so if the lowly nz can do it, england wont have a problem not losing ten wickets in the remainder of the match.

Im not saying this wont happen, but id want more than 13/8 on them doing so.

NZ are not going to declare at any point which risks them blowing the drawn series, imo.

why would they value the draw enough to prepare a pitch for it, then risk it for a slightly increased chance for a win?

When: 25 Mar 13 00:13
no declaration till just before tea with a lead of 500 plus imo

Think you might be right here. NZ have been the better team on more days of this series, but they've been too much about not losing rather than winning.
