im sensing a wicket

Draw at 1.7 seems to be the value bet.
By:
draw looks good as long as we dont allow india too much of a lead of 100..that way we arent just battting out time but hopefully building a lead to put india out of the game

Just read the comments from the last day and this morning.
a lot of tricky books out there.. India should be 15+ was a common comment. Lay to the max. Backing england at sub 2. Not a pretty sight to wake up. Great batting by india, but very curious they have done it so slowly |
By:
i was one of those saying india should be 15.0 and i still stand by that, yes they have batted all day without losing a wicket but it was longs odds against this happening
By:
this last hour or so is going to be great. The Indians are looking to up the rate a little while England are at their most tired. If they are able to get through the day and pick up the pace a little, will be in good little position

Having traded this test well, I've now switched all but a little of my green to India. 2.9 is a cracking price imho
By:
lol, market correcting itself. Didn't realise my 50 quid had such an effect

lets suppose india continue to occupy the crease, at what point would they consider a declaration, would they risk going into day 5?
By:
According to bcci commentator, pitch changes dramatically on day 4 & 5

100% DRAW STILL
By:
Wouldnt declare while tea tomorrow at the earliest imo.
By:
by tea the lead would be roughly 150
By:
Would want 200 lead i think.
By:
out
By:
at last something for england to get their teeth into..get dhoni before stumps and the draw is long odds on
By:
england still woefully short at sub 9
By:
not really
By:
6.8 pretty short tho!
By:
It's ridiculously short.
By:
in the last hour, the game has looked more like a draw but the draw has drifted from 1.7 to 1.8. I dont quite get it.
By:
Why has Anderson been used less than the other 3?
By:
must be carrying an injury
By:
If Donut was complaining about the light then it beggars belief.
By:
RichyH Anderson is a fast bowler lot more effort involved bowling at 90mph than monties 49mph
By:
I'm aware of that but both Jadeja and Bresnan have seen more of the Ball
By:
Jadeja a spinner and bowled well 1st innings Bressie only medium paced at best
By:
I ment Sharma but he only had 28 overs to.I will take that tho from Jimmy:)
By:
eng well in this one lads. dont be laying any silly prices now..

ENG will want to just bat forever - can't see them risking the game for a win which means little in the series
By:
yeah they'll want to! doesnt mean they can!
By:
England would need to be bowled out for them to win. Often the case. So that's 25 wickets to fall in 2 days, for an England victory.
By:
Sure, but the onus is with India. ENG won't declare early to try and win.
By:
no but we'll be bowled out for under 300
By:
Between lunch/tea on Day 5 - 40 overs left - very hard to then see a result
By:
basically ENG need to IND to be all out within 10/15 overs here for any chance.
By:
Not out I reckon

benefit of doubt to Dhoni
