Rain may not arrive till monday. Just laid WI to reduce exposure to NZ. Wide cracks reported in pitch by Sky at start of match. Very hard to call but doing an Indian rain dance! |

Why NZ is still 4.6?
To win they need to take next 7 wickets under 150 runs-possible NZ lead=50 runs They then need to score at least 200 or more-possible Then they need to bowl out WI under 250-possible but if they dont bowl them out under next 150 runs and concede lead,it is going to be very difficult for them to win |

Weather forecast site here shows clear weather for the next two days and i guess till then draw wont come in because in either case whether wickets fall or windies score a result would be favoured..so I dont think backing draw is a good idea here

Goddam these Kiwis! Ruining my profits! Heavy on the draw but still managed a profit for NZ. Just about to cover NZ for some more and 2 wickets go down! Am now heavily exposed to West Indies but hope they will go out if NZ wrap them up. Bear in mind pitch is not expected to last this could be over before Ernesto arrives.
Will buy more NZ above 3 if chance profers and also above 4. Waiting to buy some WI just in case. |

On the other hand as I said earlier laying draw is the best way to go about this match..1 and half day with 15 wickets gone..result is all but a certainity here..

I think it is a 4 day match if it last that long! From a draw perspective West Indies need to bat well or maybe beyond NZ total. NZ I hope will not surrender tomorrow and post a total beyond 200. I haven;t been watching closely but by day 4 the pitch may start creaking.
I am over exposed on the draw but sorely tempted to go all in for this one, 5 is a big price with Ernesto lurking off South Americs. maybe 21mph is a lttile slow but it should send rain by Sunday. Congrats to all those sitting pretty, the result I think is still hard to all but it is exciting. |
