another dreadful session for England
bowling straight at Smith is not the way to get him out. i said it pre series. This is Strauss's last series for England. >>>>Terrible, bit unlucky I thought in that session at times, but I'm not complaining, 1 session down no wickets and a terrible forecast. You're right about bowling at Smith. Strauss is fine when you're playing a numpty team - dunno who would be better though, Cook? |

pj i honestly can't see england taking a wicket here this test , they are that bad
the only thing that can save draw layers is england collapsing but that won't happen on this flat pitch . it's all over i m o , nothing to see here . |

i use about 3/4 and they all are consistently wrong (including met office) must be something to do with the current weather system but these forecasts cannot be trusted imo |

The weather forecast doesn't look too bad for the weekend. Looks as if we will get two full days play then maybe on off days sat and sun which could mean 60/70 over days. Monday looks potentially no play until the afternoon but if 360 overs plus gets bowled I think their will be a positive result.

Rather than look at individual batting / bowling / fielding blame look at the overall facts..
Average runs per wicket in series so far.. England 31.25 S.Africa 360.5 If you read those stats and didn't know who was playing you'd be forgiven for thinking it was India v Kenya  |
